Depressing thought but having completed Bioshock Infinite theres nothing on the horizon I'm gagging to play (bar The Last Of Us). March seems like this gens last major gaming month. Now to prepare for the lull (unless Nintendo reveal something great for the Wii U in the meantime).

No games except the one you want to play.

GTA V, the last of us, BF3 and Rayman legends off the top of my head.

Sly 4 unlocks tomorrow. I'm suddenly quite interested in Injustice, and obviously Dark Souls 2. I'm good for a while.

Oh, and Beyond, TLoU, Puppeteer and Rain. That's just Sony.

    Puppeteer
    Beyond: Two Souls
    The Last of Us
    Sly Cooper 4
    GTA5
    Metro: Last Light
    Saints Row 4
    Dead Island Riptide

Seems plenty to me. Besides, new generations always take about 12 or 18 months to become essential anyway.

Beyond and GTA V are 6 months off at least. Sly can't compare to Bioshock or even Tomb Raider and latest Gears. Metro is one I overlooked.

    It's still pretty thin though.

I'm still playing catch-up myself - DmC, Tomb Raider, Sleeping Dogs, Spec Ops are just a few titles I want to try once I get done w/ Bioshock. Plus Dead Island Riptide, Metro, GTAV...

Yes I'm the same. I've played every single game that has been released ever. On every system.

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

I'm not sure how people manage to play so many games that they've run out of options until next gen. I'm still catching up on all the big releases from the last few years.

Excellent news. My backlog will get a whipping and I might even get to go back to R.U.S.E and XCOM.

@DarkSpaceDS Yeah, if only it was releasing sooner than 6 months time. There's just a major gap of AAA releases now.

I never said I'd played all games out merely there is nothing of real worth on the horizon coming out. I'm pretty sure if the cinema had no major releases this summer no one would have the attitude that that's ok there's 100's of films they still haven't seen. There is an obvious lack of releases (especially on the 360) to come.

@DarkSpaceDS given half the next gen launch games are yet to be announced you can't be sure of that at all. GTAV will be a very good game I'm sure, but to make such a statement is just hyperbole.

Btw that kind of statement was just asking for a wind up :)

It's still March though. Usually a few big games in May then the drought happens.

@DarkSpaceDS I'm not so sure. Shit by comparison to what follows it sure. But ridge racer, wipeout, pgr3, halo, sonic adventure, Tekken were all good launch games. Given the similarity in tech for this gen I would expect the next set of games to be better set up than the last two gens.

Yeah me too. Got a nice pile here that's only getting bigger.

Loads of games to play too.

Is anyone else getting a bit bored with remastered games? Read my thoughts!

Who said they had run out or nothing to play. Read my comment above and the actual thread title ;)

LOL! There are loads of games coming out this year, loads more if you have a PC to where generations are not a thing.

Christ I have a huge backlog, games out already to buy AND games released this year. How many games do you get through? :)

In June alone we have Company of Heroes 2, Lost Planet 3, Animal Crossing New Leaf, Remember Me and The Last of Us. And summer is supposed to be the quiet period of releases. Also, don't forget some of the next-gen games that are likely to release on current-gen first such as AC4: Black Flag, Destiny and Watch_Dogs.

If I feel bored, I look at the 170+ Steam games I have, and that I've finished a handful, and sigh. Humble Bundle compulsive buying means I have more games to finish than I have years of my life left, by a long way.

Plus, MS haven't announced the Summer of Arcade yet, so there's a potential 5 downloadable games to play too.

Seems like an outside bet, but I've got a good feeling about that Star Trek game. I hope I'm right.
