Considering Wii U software is hardly coming think and fast right now, am I the only person wondering exactly why Eurogamer (and DF come to that) haven't seen fit to give us a review on Need For Speed Most Wanted U which was released today?

I could understand if they were picking and choosing the best bits from a flood of stuff to cover, but that's simply not the case. Covering MH, Lego, and MW are surely base requirements for this month.

So come on EG, where's the review (and DF face off)?

Well they did an article on it recently about the improvements, so I'd imagine a review or DF comparison is in the works.

    This.
After the coverage they gave the port there's no chance they're not working on a review and a DF comparison.

Well yeah, so given that it was released today it seems odd that we don't have at least one of those two in place.

It's the same game with a couple of additions that don't dramatically alter the title. Add a .5 to whatever score EG gave it on other formats.

    Multiply

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

Or deduct .5 for only having a 6 player online mode.

I'm not worried about a review; there are enough positive reviews on the Wii U version online, my main concern is the lack of retailers stocking Wii U software. My local Asda have not received any Wii U software titles since the initial launch period and my local Tesco did have a Wii U section and the Wii U top 10 chart; but this has strangely disappeared.

@Sid-Nice Nintendo need to get sorting this drought quickly. It feels like the GameCube all over again.

If you buy a Nintendo product you cannot be surprised about slow release schedules. It's what they do, have always done, and will do forever more.

@RobTheBuilder Nintendo will be fortunate if the Wii U manages to sell 24 million consoles.

@Sid-Nice they need games and they need momentum. BADLY.
I hope what thy are doing is saving up several good releases for a huge push.

@jonsaan it is. But with the Wii there was enough of a buzz that it didn't matter as much. WiiU is in danger of dying before it gets to the next flurry of games

I can see it perhaps getting a DF article, but I think a re-review is highly unlikely. They would only review it if there were substantial changes made; the addition of screen pad support and prettier graphics doesn't warrant a separate review in my opinion.

I'm always amazed how many WiiU reviews never mention if you can play the game on the control pad alone. If that feature was a given, I'd buy a WiiU very quick.

Not looking like we're going to get a DF article, which is a shame given the coverage they gave it in the build-up to release, and also that it might actually have been one port that performed better on Wii U...
