Basically a SWAT simulator, currently going very cheap as they're looking for funding, currently got a playable alpha build.

Pretty bloody good, like a slower, more tactical version of Frozen Synapse. 22 single missions available now, campaign and mission creator/generator to be made available later.

Looks brilliant. Been a long time since I planned a mission in Rainbow Six.

Looks good. I think I prefer true turn-based to hybrid, but then I have no reaction times.

It's pause-when-you-like, so twitching is optional.

Bought it last night and played through 5 or 6 missions and despite being hard I really enjoyed it. It's lacking waypoints and timing commands that Rainbow Six had right now and I think once they're in it'll be brilliant fun.

It does need waypoints and other features but even now it's great fun. Well worth the $7.99 they're asking at the moment.

Been eyeing this up the last few days as I want to tinker with a new game and this looks like it does right everything that the recent iPad SWAT-style game got wrong, even though it's in Alpha.

Anyone played one of the latest alpha builds? Still enjoying it?

Took the plunge on this (I've got the week off and spending it gaming!) and it's looking great, up to Alpha 5 now. Still just a collection of one-off levels with no campaign or anything. And it's got 'persistent roster' and 'customisable load outs' but to be honest they don't really do that much yet.

I like it, but I wish there was a better 'corner' mechanic. Right now you just have to drop a waypoint near a corner and hope you've given them enough cover as well as enough of an angle to be remotely useful picking off bad guys around that corner, which is a bit trial-and-error.

And I think it needs a decent tutorial for how to best use go-codes etc.

But it's looking very good indeed!

If any game ever needed a Diana Vickers endorsement it's this one.
