A new drama set after a zombie outbreak it the UK. Those infected are captured and treated and returned to society (along with all the stigma etc).
It was VERY good; go catch on iplayer!

Missed the last 20 mins due to wakey baby, but really enjoyed what I saw. Like the detail that rural areas depended on local people tackling the undead during The Rising, as opposed to the overstretched armed forces who were only deployed in cities.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

Meh, twas alright. Not sure the policy of using new actors and comedians worked all that well, but the script was good and brought up some interesting ideas.

It's good enough that I'll watch it, but I'll probably complain about it endlessly.

I will catch it one night his week. I also have a wakey baby and trying to watch or play or do anything too involved us a bit of a disaster at the moment. But I should have time on Tuesday for some telly as I'm off work.

Not really though, that's the point. I've always felt the aftermath of a zombie outbreak would be interesting to see, and this approach was pretty good to see. I'll certainly watch the others as it's a good concept with a good opening episode :)

I'd kick the living daylights out of the producers of Tipping Point - Ghandi

If it gives a different spin on a familiar subject, who really cares?

I caught up on iplayer. Interesting ending, will definitely follow this one through.

Even if this is good, I still wish zombies would fuck off for a bit. It seems like they've been constant and ever-pervading in culture since the turn of the century. At least vampires came and went in a few short years.

Haven't we been doing vampires at least since Bram Stoker's Dracula in 1992 (via Blade, Buffy etc.) up until at least the last Twilight film? On that front, I don't see any sign of Zombies shuffling off for a while.

Vampires come and go, but zombies never seem to have fucked off for longer than ten minutes.

I think it's time to give The Creature from the Black Lagoon a little time in the sun - his pals have been getting all the best parts.

Just watched it I thought it was pretty good, and that's coming from
A cynical twat who doesn't watch dramas or bbc 3. Bit sick of seeing Ricky Tomlinson playing Ricky Tomlinson though

I liked that. I think they did 'embarrassing parents that mean well but are just making things worse' quite well.

It was pretty good if massively predictable in parts. Making the main protagonists teenagers was always going to make it a bit wangsty for my taste but the clips for the following weeks look like its going to be decent.

The internet zombie is clearly going to be the most interesting part of the whole thing (and quite obviously, not actually a zombie).

Just watched this, pretty good. I liked it, good to see a slightly different spin on the whole zombie thing. I had to laugh when his family got tooled up and his mum was rocking a chainsaw, was somewhat unexpected.

I wouldn't have even known about this if not for this thread, so thanks. Not seen any trailers or anything, was it advertised much?

Yup. Enjoyed it. If a little predictable in its humble British approach to Zombies(insert anything).

Was ok, bit flat and god the predictability metre was running high, but a clever concept. The 'ooh it's a zombie thing lets put a social commentary in' was fairly hammered home too.

The sister seemed the best character. Clever ending to the episode.

While this is true, I want them to stick around until someone finally nails it, and blows me away, like Dawn of the Dead, or even that first city scene in Day of the Dead. So much potential always comes to low budget disappointment with the genre.

World War Z probably won't help much either with it's rather inflated budget.

In The Flesh was pretty good though, looking forward to Sunday's episode.

It's a really interesting take on zombies. Quite sad in many respects. Starting to get serious now. Is there only one more episode left?
