Nothing much happened last turn as it was all moving into place. The only clash was an Italian and Turkish Fleet engagement, and even that was more of a positioning move rather than an overt attack. I can definitely see Turkey and Italy clashing though.

It does look to me as if England is going to push down towards Moscow, though it's 2 on 2 there if Turkey tries to hold so there won't be movement yet.

France also seem in a good position to push England off of Kiel if they wanted, but there's a lot of units in both sides and with Italy so close, I'm genuinely not sure what'll happen there. There still seem to be alliances in place that have made everyone play defensively, so it really could go any way just now. One good stab between allies could cripple any side just now, given the supply centres are on the frontlines!

It's getting very tense now, 3 countries are on 11 Scs, with Italy still holding 1.

If we have any future games, Fillip suggested the more experienced players should choose the more difficult nations (Germany, Italy, Austria, Russia). We picked these ones at random for this game, but there is an option to choose your preferred country.

Saying that, I'm a little worried that people are getting sick of Fillip brutally stabbing them. Obviously I'm really pleasant, but that Fillip is cruel...

And then there were 3! Italy was never going to hold out much longer, but no troops and no supply centres means goodbye. The English hordes to the North, the Eastern Turks and the French to the West, all fairly evenly matched when it comes to troop strength.

So, 3 way tie? Or will 2 of them gang up on the other? Or will everyone say "no fighting" then do LOADS OF FIGHTING! With everyone on everyone else's borders, anyone can kick off.

Having a quick glance at last few turns though, France and England never went for each other directly. If there is an alliance, it's there. There has even been some supporting one another!

There has also been a draw proposal from Turkey to England, Italy and France.

It has been rejected by England.

1909 could be an interesting year.

Things are certainly looking very interesting at the moment, that's for sure. Should lead to a great post-match analysis.

Yeah it's up and the turn clock has been rest to account go the one he server was down.

Latest update: Turkey has refused a draw that included England and France. He thinks that either England or France will stab each other, given time and the opportunity, so has decided to fight on.

England (me) and France (fillip) won in a 2 way draw. That last turn was very tense, hoping he wasn't going to stab me at the last minute to claim a solo win

I was wondering about that. The temptation to stab and go for the solo win must've been high! Turkey was always dead as long as that English-French union held, which it did.

Well played all, was very enjoyable to follow :)

My theory was that a stab to go for a solo win would have felt cheap. It's surprisingly hard to stab someone you've been allied to for a month!

@dm- are you still wanting an after game report?

@fillip - I've just finished a work game of it (solo win with Germany!) so I might need a bit of a break. If you can find another 5 players then I'd be willing to join though
