    Anyone catch this tonight? It's a new series on Channel 4 at 10pm (Wednesdays). I quite enjoyed it, made me laugh in a couple of places and there seems to be quite a lot of character in the show. It's not just about a guy doing loads of funny voices as the adverts lead me to believe.

    I'd like to see where it goes, so will be watching again next week.

    Was intrigued by the adverts and the show didn't disappoint. Enjoyed the fact that half of the time people thought he was a bit of a tit for doing the voices.

    I know everyone hates Russell Brand but it's written (at least partly, though I think he does it all) by Matt Morgan, Russel's old writing partner.

    As a fan of Russell Brand's radio show I can confirm that this man is hilarious. Hope it does well.

    Really like this one. Martin is a personable goof and the voice thing is far more entertaining when presented like this instead of the tired Rory Bremner sketch show shtick. Helps a lot that he gets odd looks and comments, and that he mimics other characters in the show as well as famous people.

    It's not a constant barrage of funny but the jokes that are there have been strong so far. Loved the newsagent setting up a dating profile. "Says she's got a chocolate lab...what's that, some kind of Willy Wonka shit?"

    I enjoyed it the last one. Some of his voices are a bit too off though. I think I can do a Walken than him.

    New episode from last night was hilarious. Getting better every episode so far, hope that continues.

    Just caught up with episode 5 on 4od, really sad at the end.

    Though the bit with the dog made me laugh.

    TV guy: "Yeah we're not allowed to tie the dog down..."
    Martin: "hmm.. bit cruel, i suppose..."
    TV guy: "Something like that. We're tying you down though. Health and Safety."

    It's a really touching show. Lots of funny bits and lots of deeply profound bits. I have a friend almost exactly like Martin so can empathise with him quite a lot.

    Really enjoying this. Martin is such an amiable guy and his relationship with the female lead, whose name I've forgotten, seems so genuine and believable. It's a very charming series and highly recommended.

    Just watched Dead Mans Shoes, thought I recognised the woman near the end.

    Watched the whole thing this week, really liked it. Funny & touching, lovely script. Strong support all round, especially enjoyed Neil Maskell's special newsagent, another great psychostupid role.
