I am loving the graphics. Is it the lighting perhaps? It is super pretty.

It does look nice. But controlling both brothers at the same time using a stick for each? Sounds like a bloody nightmare.
Starbreeze are generally pretty decent though

Just surprised readings the comments that no-one seems to have noticed how fantastic it looks.

Nice to see Starbreeze do something other than an FPS (never played their very early stuff).

Good studio that make very memorable games. Have high hopes for this.

Excellent reviews all over the place for this one.

Can't wait to play it. Might even - for once - play it alone and another time with my girlfriend. Sounds like one of those titles that can transcend the hardcore to include the casual.

    Ridick, The Darkness and Syndicate.

Brothers is ok. It's very easy and a little rough, though I might be being a bit too judgmental on that. I'm not really amazed by it yet.

I vaguely remember quite liking Riddick. This looks pretty.

Looking to pick this up on PC for some 1080p action, will my lowly 8800GTS 320mb handle it ok? Or best of just going for the 360 version?

Definitely, positively picking this up once it's out for PS3...

I wouldn't expect anything less from Miyamoto.

If Nintendo suddenly decided to stop making games for people with learning difficulties the result wouldn't be a million miles away from this to be honest.

My NOW TV points finally dropped through the letterbox this morning so, I shall most likely play this later this evening if it is still indeed blooming raining outside.

... has anyone completed the game yet? If so, how long is the story?

Thought this was a Xbox 360 exclusive, but thankfully it isn't ... hooray!

    It's about three hours.

I don't think the "thing" that half the EG review goes on about really warranted that response, but it is quite clever. It did mean I spent the last hour of the game thinking "is this thing the "thing"???" though.

I haven't read any reviews for it so I didn't know there was a "thing". I hate knowing there's a "thing". It means I spend the whole time trying to figure out what the "thing" is. So thanks for SPOILING EVERYTHING.

Shame it's 1200pts. I'm all for quality over quantity, but at 800pts more people (including myself) would have been inclined to give it a try, especially with all the reviews going on about the "memorable" final act.

What a fantastic game. My review can be found here.

Also, neilka is wrong. It took me 4/5 hours to complete and was worth every penny.

The link hairy posted is to a phishing site, don't click on it. And yes the game is vundabar. It was in danger of over egging it at the end but I think it just about pulled it off. Everyone should play it.

I downloaded this on a whim after playing the demo, knowing virtually nothing about the game. Glad I did; easily one of the best fantasy games I've ever played. Yeah, it's a little easy, but there are so few games that can really take you on a journey and give you such a genuine sense of wonder for the whole duration. It reminds me of playing Ocarina of Time for the first time, albeit in a much denser package.

Seriously, if you want to explore an amazing fantasy world that doesn't just view everything in terms of stats and loot then this is a must buy.

I disagree. I was expecting much more considering the pre and reviews. It's average at best. It's completely linear, incredibly easy and the "thing" isn't even a thing. The fantasy element is pretty simple too: with the exception of 2 nicely designed creatures it's pretty stereotypically and never fleshes anything out, and the choice of the gobbledegook language is a bad one as there's really nothing to get drawn into.
It's left me completely cold unfortunately.

Interesting Derbs... I've not looked at the demo yet but as lovely as the visuals are the gameplay videos I've seen make it all appear very simple mechanically.
