I think this is all your stuff though and the uncle story is your little twist on it :). I don't see how your uncle would know to buy games like Zero Wing and Gunstar Heroes... I'd expect to see rows of football games plus Sonic/Altered Beast then a few movie licenses.

I honestly can't consolidate the facts with this uncle character. The collection seems too deliberate.

Or maybe I'm just jealous. What's your uncles address again?

Hahaha, he's a total geek man, is 52 lives with his dad who's in his 80's. Never been married lots of disposable income, why should I explain myself.

Mate I wish this was my stuff, to be honest it never woukd be 'cos I'm useless at looking after stuff. He was majorly into manga and fighting games, what more can I say - he hates football but loves wrestling (hence the amount of wrestling titles). I don't know what else to say. Why would I lie??

As a kid i remember he used to have shelves of megadrive games - apparently he's given lots of these away to his other nephews. He had mega CD and at a shed load of NES and snes stuff which he cant find (dammit)

Ha, sorry, that wasn't meant as an attack on his age. I meant how could he be geeky enough to buy 2x Panzer Dragoon Sagas, to use the above example, yet so profoundly ungeeky as to think they're only good for the skip?

It's morning now anyway and I can see I was (am) just jealous. Never doubted the photos.

Make sure you link to any ebay auctions if you go that route mate, I wanna see what goes on with that 32x!

@mumtoucher - I'll say one thing, and that's to take it easy - As soon as you start advertising online, you'll get all the chancers trying to rip you off.

However, saying that, I'll give you an excellent price for a megadrive with golden axe :)

As the ole adage goes, worth is what someone wants to pay for it. I'd personally let the market decide and slap some of the popular stuff on starting at 99p. Unless of course you have a figure in mind.

Also factor in eBay have bi-monthly free insertion weekends (one today/tommorow in fact) where you can auction something with any starting price for free. You still have to pay the closing fees though.

Give yourself 5 or gig, you're worth it.

Yeah, it's a risk, but it normally works out ok in the long run on ebay, especially if you have plenty of items. I've got a particularly rare record going on ebay at the moment and it's on at 99p. You just need 2 people to have an interest and let their ego's battle it out

Just be prepared for some outlandish emails once you put them on. Even with "I ONLY SHIP TO UK" on the auction, you'll still get goons from Italy asking about the postage

Just did cursory search on your Saturn stuff on eBay, 1600+ going on the completed item prices.

    Niiiice.

Yeah, go for it - ship where you want - I was just illustrating the fact that you'll get people trying it on half the time. A guy emailed me yesterday offering me 15 for a 200-300 item :/

Once you've done the research and know what you want, it's fine - just don't be tempted by someone giving you a quick offer (like me, for a megadrive :) )

I swear selling things gets more addictive the more you do it. I often scour car boots and charity shops for albums on specific labels. Argh, it's taking over :)

You should be set really - having the boxes *really* helps.

Actually, fucking hell, I need to have a clearout. I've got a snes and a dreamcast, both with various accessories and even they go for 50+

    Set me off now ffs

Funny thing is my family all regard him as a little odd, which I guess he is but he's gonna be having the last laugh when I take a few thousand round to him. Can't wait to see the look on his face.

You got to watch them lot on Sealed game heaven, they are a right bunch of sniping fuckers, they would literally do there own mothers over if they sensed they could snatch a bargain, real insincere wankers, when I sell anything I purposely won't sell anything to any of there members if I can help it. Had one the other day try and and buy a sealed SNES game from me and he offered me 50 and made it sound like he was doing me a favour. Complete tool

@PeacockDreams What would be the best way to sell stuff like this then? Put it on Ebay?
