    I really hate "AAA". I mainly don't like how it seemed to spring up over the last few years and I've seen no one use it ironically since.

    With you on SKU and AAA. SKU is a perfectly good term for managing stock, which has been misused. AAA (etc) is so ill-defined as to be almost meaningless.

    Franchise and IP are well defined and useful, though.

    AAA has been used for years. I remember Final Fantasy games on the PS1 refered to as AAA games and it was probably around before then.
