Anyone played Teleglitch?|
"Teleglitch is a roguelike top-down shooter with pixel graphics. The game takes place in procedurally generated military research & training complex that has a different map every time you play. Our mission is to give players like you a chance to walk in the dark corridors, gripping their gun and few last rounds of ammunition. To play with finger on the trigger, high on adrenaline. We want to give you the paranoid, sweaty, and bloody hard kind of fun."
It's a bit good.
"You will plummet backwards and silently screaming down the open elevator shaft of progress through the game, because it defeated you. Procedurality lends itself to having good runs and bad runs due to circumstance, and never more so than here."

Tried it, and I like the lore and setting, but I just found it a bit too ponderous. Or are you supposed to evade as much as possible?

Wait, nevermind, now I know how to play this. Yes, good game, but I think €9.99 is a bit much. I'll wait for a sale.

I'm enjoying the "Die More" edition of this quite a bit. Managed to finish the first level on my third or fourth attempt, but now I'm too scared to try the next one and am taking a break...
Ha! Completed level 3 yesterday... :smug:
But then I saved and exited the game because that was as much stress as I can stand on a single evening...

Bought this 75% off on Steam the other day, been playing it quite a bit, but not managed to finish level 3 yet. It's pretty tense!
So far the most fun is the nail/tube/gun thing you can make which seems to obliterate everything in its path. Luring huge hordes of mutants into the void is pretty satisfying too.

Oooh! I saw this on sale but didn't associate the name with this game, and the name is a bit shit. Just watched a vid and read the EG review - gonna have to pick this up now.
Oh. It's the same price on Steam still. Wish I'd known that before hand - would have been easier buying it directly!

I loved this game before the Die More edition where the developers prettymuch out-balanced what made the game work for. It went from being one of my favourite games that I played over and over again to one I don't touch. This is especially tragic as I still have a copy of the 'old' version.
Does anyone of you who has played both versions if the new version has seen any updates or added balance options lately?
