Some TV exec obviously saw Real Steel and thought it was a good idea. The robots look impressive but once in action it's less like the film and more like Robot Wars meets Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots.
Still I watched because it's presented by WWE star Chris Jericho but it's hilariously bad and has some VERY minor names on like Amanda Lucas (MMA fighter, daughter of George) and one of the dudes who designed the Mars rover Curiosity.
