The oldest factory sealed game you own (that you still plan to play)

The idea of this topic was inspired by the Self-imposed ban on buying more games thread.

I'm afraid I'm one of those gamers who has too little time to play games but can't resist a bargain when games on my hit list shoot down in price.

However (as other people have mentioned on the other thread) due to lack of time the un-played games start to pile up, and the backlog just gets bigger and bigger.

The other day I found a factory sealed copy of Arx Fatalis for the original Xbox. I forgot I had this game and thus I've decided to give it a go some time this week.

So come on, own up. What games have you got in your backlog that's still factory sealed, which you plan to play but for whatever reason it never happens?

P.S. I'm only interested in hearing from gamers (rather than collectors, as they usually have no intention of playing them).

    Resident Evil 0 on Gamecube.
I'm not a collector, but I'm also not entirely sure that I'll ever get around to playing it.

Not as nice as I used to be

In 30 years of gaming, I have never bought a game that I have not at least tried a few hours after I bought it, so: none.

Also, "factory sealed"? How quaint. :p

Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time
    X-Blades

Not sure which one's oldest, but all have the older Spiderman font boxes. Just never got around to them.

Can't ever imagine buying something and not using it. How bizarre.

Indeed, especially if it is still sealed.

I've got a copy of Realms of the Haunting on PC (1997) still sealed as I accidentally bought 2 copies (don't ask). Sadly worth fuck all.
    A was jus playin

Can you imagine buying two of something? Perhaps for investment purposes?

I got a copy of Silent Hunter IV for my birthday in 2007, I really should get around to playing it.

Knowing my luck the Ubisoft DRM will make it unplayable.

    This space left intentionally blank.

Okay good. Now imagine you keep one of the copies sealed and the other copy you open and use. Still bizarre?

Still a little bizarre. Although most people here haven't open theirs because they buy too many games, not that they are shrewd investors. :)

I "think" the only game I own that is still sealed is Jet Set Radio. I completed it multiple times as a kid and have no real intentions of playing it soon, it was just a cheap copy I picked up on eBay. I'm guessing when the Dreamcast went under there were a couple of boxes of certain games kept in storage for a number of years as you see the same few on eBay going for pennies all sealed.

I will open it eventually. That new game smell.

Yep. I like to buy games that I think I'll enjoy, but sadly don't have time to play them all.
What I really need, is to buy more time. If only I could get a Time Turner, like what Hermione had in Goblet of Fire.

Not as nice as I used to be

I'm same. Unfortunately, this is a trend which isn't restricted to PC games. I have new unused XBox, XBox360 (Rockstar Table Tennis buught at launch springs immediately to mind) and PS3 games which are yet to see the inside of the console.

DVD's are another one (I'm looking at BattleStar Galactica seasons 1-3 boxsets bought at release and still sealed). Since buying them, I've since bought the tin complete blu-ray box-set (which also has not been watched)

Banjo: Nuts and Bolts, Also have Banjo Tooie on XBLA arcade that I've never loaded. I bought all 3 three then got stuck on Banjo Kazooie and then got distracted.

That said I also have Metroid Prime Corruption again, I have to play chronologically and keep getting stuck in Metroid Prime: Echos
