doctors from outside the EU with fake qualifications or something like that. There's loads of them working for the NHS.
  • Deleted user 7 March 2013 19:09:29
Come next month all doctors working for the NHS need to be able to speak English, about time.

Yeah, it would be, if it were true.

Even with a figure inclusive of state pensions it's still not a third. Let alone all the people in work claiming some form of benefit. Carry on, Pepsi.

Once again, science is only as 'good' as the people that practice it. Which is where religion, as an outlet for moral questionning, might play a part.

37% in 2012, carry on red.

2011-2012 was closer to 25%, inclusive of pensions. For instance: housing benefit: 16 billion. State pension: 70+

Which rather devalues your rather predictable point about thieving scumbags.

    @-cerberus-

    Professionally I am very skeptical.

Mentioning upholding the status quo, I'm also a bit skeptical of peer reviewing science journals. It's the best system we have but it's not perfect; there will always be an element of bias and subjectivity to everything. Scientists are human beings and different interpretations and egos will always get in the way.

This bloke wrote a very eloquent and influential book on how scientific breakthroughs and revolutions occur and how scientists can never be "truly" objective. I think he may even have been responsible for the phrase "paradigm shift"... the bastard!

@monty2k fair points. I do defend the right for people of any faith to do what ever. A load of people died in all wars defending this basic right. Good luck with the thesis and any future career.

Zakat in England is covered by paying tax to the government. I paid about 1000 in tax last month, one third of the governments income goes on welfare so just last month I gave 333 to the needy.
I feel the mask just slipped slightly on this mother who is a Dr with a vast IQ that has adopted Islam..

I've turned off all the avatars and crap, so don't expect me to be impressed by yours.

I went on a government web site that gave the 37 figure. Lets go with the guardian though at 25. So 250 last month went on others welfare.

Oh and if anyone can find a post of mine that has me on the forum saying I'm a Dr I will eat my hand. I'm not saying I am or not but I have never said on this forum I am.

Okay will do. I've told three people my job in private, I've told a few more I work in a London hospital. There are all sorts of apparent facts people know about i've never spoken to before. Half of them are complete fabrication.

So you are a part-time Muslim, who works as a hospital cleaner with a chip on your shoulder about those on benefits, who thinks her taxes are a form of charity?

Too much of my tax is charity. Welfare state , people need to look out for themselves and not rely on others hard work. They are a drain.

I could have sworn you'd said what you do for a living. Many people round here worked out I did for a living despite
the fact I swear I never mentioned it and in fact thought i'd gone out of my way to be vague about it. I guess people talk about things other people have said, such is life. Things tend to dissemninate in to common knowledge somehow.

So how much of the welfare state is ok then? You do realise the vast majority of welfare is paid to people who have jobs, right?

So we should scrap the NHS and all benefits?

The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.

  • Deleted user 7 March 2013 22:44:53
No no. I don't have the answers but far too much money goes to people who shouldn't get it. The whole system is backwards, it almost encourages negative ways.
Oh and 1000 on tax was rubbish, checked payslip, more 700 odd but the point is the same.
  • Deleted user 7 March 2013 22:53:24
Just admit it. You turn your nose up at the poor. They're like shit on your shoe.

Maybe you get too much money if you cannot work out your own tax. They should take your money and give it to someone who'd need it - a disabled person, or someone who needs welfare.

It sounds like you're a Muslim who reads the Daily Mail.
    Boy, you must hate yourself.
  • Deleted user 7 March 2013 23:19:17
