Heard it on some advert for BBC 3 and wanted to know what the blatent rip off was.

Not the worst music I've heard recently to be fair, though it probably helps it's based on a classic 90s riff.

Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

There are 3 separate misanthropic bile threads simultaneously spiraling near the top of the Non-gaming section. I hope the mods are ensuring that the streams don't cross.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

The whole of the front page is full of misanthropic bile threads.

Oh wait, I'm looking at the Wii-U section.

Well, it's a good thing this thread isn't full of bitching.

    And this:

As the average age of the forum user base gradually and exponentially gets older the general misanthropy levels will rise.

So is the GTA V thread one to avoid or something?

The massive spoiler warning in the thread title puts me off.

Do people not use spoiler tags in there or something?

You'll be happier if you avoid the thread anyway. If I consume all the media related to a game before I experience it, I usually end up wishing I hadn't.

Which is a long winded way of saying I haven't checked it.

Yes, but I'll need to update my fellow forumites with news about where my pre-ordered copy is and when I'll receive it.

MrTom just put the warning up because it's near release and some tit will stick the ending in there at some point. They always do.

Afaik, it hasn't happened yet though.

    Sounds like Brando. Mmmumbly.

Yup. That and the political correctness one. There is always misanthropy on EG, it's part if the charm. Come for the games, stay for the abuse. But those three threads are concentrating the rage at the heart of Non-gaming. Seething, they are. Hopefully there isn't any Psychomagnotheric Ectoplasm about.

Got a new phone the other day.

Someone rang me, and I was genuinely confused what I had to press to just simply answer to call.

I am officially an old man, confuddled by technology.

You want the "Things that make you feel old" thread, daddyo.

I think my phone's predictive text library is probably at least 5% garbage due to me spasmodically authorising neologisms due to stubby fingers.

I probably just need two buttons on my phone. One is texting my wife asking her where she is, and the other one is texting my wife telling her I'm on my way.

In the past couple of weeks I've met a few people from Cardiff and to my ears they all sound quite English. Is this normal or have I met a very select type?
