Well it went from ultra conservative to full on hardcore in South Africa in just a couple of years if I recall correctly.

Apartheid was not just about racism, it was also ultra conservative christianty with women in the kitchen, men working hard and kids not seen. Hence gambling, pornography etc was very much banned.

Readers wives (and sometimes the readers) used to scare me that these people could be lurking in my street. We used to try and guess who the perverts were in the street.

    Turns out it was me!

If she didn't want the attention then perhaps she shouldn't have let the future king put one up her.

I just got given the middle finger by a motorcyclist while driving today. Not quite sure what I did (though I think I may have accidentally cut him off). I know it shouldn't bother me, but it does a little. What a rude individual >:(

Well if you did cut him off you might have been close to making him an unexpected organ donor.

The Bruce Willis Die Hard ad has been on the site too long. Fucking awful film too.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realise half of them are stupider than that

The non-planetary top elliptic orbit is Halles comet, I think, which would date it later than 1705. And if it isn't just the image that is cropped then Uranus was discovered in 1781. So it's published somewhere between those two dates based on these two assumptions.

Don't think so, it passes at it's closest further away than Venus. But I'd agree the inclusion of comet trajectories might suggest it is later. Is it in French?
