That Ragnarock Online 2 thread is like some weird parallel universe. I don't recognise a single user in there.

(don't go posting and running it!)

Sorry, only wanted half of it for breakfast as I watched you through the window.

Wait, is that regular Spam or Spam with Bacon? Might not have been me if it was regular.

Ha, I did two essays and my dissertation in roughly three days. I probably spent the normal amount of time, just compacted into three days.

English student, so I wrote about science fiction from 1950 - 1960, and focused on how humanity is shown as the 'enemy', rather than an outside influence, and that if there is an outside influence, or an 'other', then it only serves to show our violent tendencies and inferiority to their rationalisation.

My whole garden is blooming with colourful flowers that most people would say are weeds. Surely they're just native plants?

Well I think they look lovely, and I haven't had to do any gardening either.

While I was waiting for my bus last night in central London an Apache helicopter flew over. What an earth was that doing flying over central London? It then flew around in a figure 8 type pattern for a while and buggered off towards Lewisham. Lewisham is still there as far as I am aware.

I saw an entire squadron of the fuckers a few years ago as I was driving down the A4.

    Quite an awesome site.

I guess it's a different kind of site if you know they're about to blow the living shit out of you.

There's a big "cancel everything and attend" meeting at work this afternoon.

Last time they did this, a lot of people ended up being redundant. I wonder what departments will close this time.

    :(

Probably flying to Woolwich barracks. I saw one going over Plumstead on Monday when I was on my lunch break. It's not a weird site round here because of the barracks. We get loads of Chinooks too, flying between Woolwich and somewhere further south. The main flight route for them seems to be over my house in Bexleyheath.
A few weeks ago, I had to go and see someone and was waiting at a red light on a road alongside the barracks and a few army dudes came down from Shooters Hill way with about twenty horses. They were walking though, not flying.

It's just the first time I have seen one over central London. You do see Chinooks fairly often though. No idea what the Apache was up to though as they were far from flying a direct route. They kept circling back on themselves.

Circling or flying a figure eight is safer, more fuel efficient and more stable than hovering in a helicopter if you're looking to stay in the same area but don't need to remain over one exact spot.
