Why bother when you can play it with a 360 controller now?
because I want to re-live my youth with the real thing, don't have a 360 and can probably get one with half a dozen decent games for about 15-20!

Also looking at cheap N64s too...just because.

I have and still play my N64. Lylat Wars and Diddy Kong racing are great. Goldeneye passed its best years a while ago unfortunately.

I played that two summers ago and I kind of wish I hadn't ...

... some things are best left to the past, even if I was totally in love with the game.

A lot of 3D PSone games are rather quite terrible too; playing 'Croc: Legend of the Gobbos' again recently-ish made me wonder how on Earth I used to thoroughly enjoy (and complete!) it.

Hmmm might stick to just the snes then. I think what's spurred it on is loading up my galaxy s3 with snes games and finding out just how shit they control with a touch screen (I know you can dualshock it).

Plus all the classic 2D Mario's/squaresoft games haven't aged that badly surely?

What type of lead do you use to connect it to your TV?
I have a feeling I only have a RF cable for my N64, although I possibly have a composite one... What was the highest level of output from the N64?

I just use the component cable to link it up to my LG HD.

For many, many reasons I love this musing.

This is a rather suggestive article from last year :)

You've heard of Gonzo journalism, right?

Is there such thing as Gonzo parenting?

I think I might be a Gonzo dad...

Was never intentional, but now it's happened, I don't know if the kids would be happy with a boring daddy...?

Care to elaborate on just how gonzo your parenting is?

Should we be making anonymous calls to certain phonelines? ;)

Would picking a child up whilst being unaware you're standing on their feet be gonzo?
