Remember seeing that picture ages ago.
Think it's true anyway. Now bring back Midtown Madness as well.
Always had more fun with those over Forza. -

Registered 8 years agoWell they would need a racing game for a new console launch title and PGR would look to be ideal. Still they could also use the Forza brand for the same thing. I would prefer they went PGR though.

halo was carefully transferred over as a project.
bizarre were just brutally axed. the fact that some team members may work on the new PGR is nothing like the same that happened with halo. -

Registered 10 years agoHalo 4 was the most expensive game ever made if you count the cost of setting up 343.
Forza Horizon was not and was created with some Ex-Bizzare creation staff as well. That turned out pretty damn well.
Have some hope this might turn out good.
Hopefully this will also get some marketing unlike PGR 4. Which MS shamefully just didn't bother with.
PGR4 was awesome. It just happened to come out around the same time as Halo 3 which fucked it over.Come and get it cumslingers!

The studio
Edited by NOSAVIOUR at 11:53:13 06-02-2013
Established in February 2011 by senior developers from Bizarre Creations, Lucid has set itself out to be a small team with big ideas and the skills to deliver them.
Our performance over the past few years has proved we are just that. We’ve successfully won contracts to build dynamic new IP, settled ourselves into a shiny new office in the heart of Liverpool’s creative quarter and completed a number of technically challenging work-for-hire contracts.
The team
With almost 40 staff at Lucid, each with unrivalled experience, our team have worked on some of the biggest gaming franchises to come out of the UK in the last 20 years. From PS1 classics such as Formula 1 97, the BAFTA winning Project Gotham Racing franchise through to recent blockbusters such as Blur and James Bond 007 : Blood Stone we’ve contributed to some of biggest selling games of the last two decades. -

Registered 8 years agoI think a mix of old and new talent working on this would do the series some good. Gotham 3 was an amazing launch game though Gotham 4 was a ever so slightly confusing mess when it came to the single player. -

If Project Gotham is a launch game for the next Xbox then well, tough decisions ahoy! -

Registered 11 years agoI enjoyed the PGR4 single player. Sure, it was a little over complicated in places, but it wasn't as broken as the MSR single player game, and at least it wasn't designed by Codemasters.Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

Yeah I'm on board for this, like kalel the PGR series is the top of the tree for me.

PGR2 is, to my mind, the pinnacle of the genre. So many hours invested in just the time trials alone...

Registered 7 years agoPGR2 is my favourite racer of all time, PGR4 is not far behind. 1 was a great launch title and I don't remember having much of a problem with it, 3 was an ok launch title but I missed the lower rank cars, also when you got the F50 you pretty much won the game, I had to stop myself from using it so there was still a challenge.
I'd love a PGR5 and Lucid seem like a good choice, I have confidence in them.
A Rallisport Challenge 3 would also be a very welcome incentive to get a Xbox 3.Please don't use the delete button, think of the children.

Registered 11 years agoMeh, PGR1 beats PGR2 in all respects except music selection, and some minor faddy thing calling itself 'live'. Better tracks in PGR1, and a better kudos system IMO. But we've had this argument before...
