I guess it's the same idea as leaving your foot in the air after a kick to touch, hope someone runs into it.

Wales deserve it. They have been superb. England have kept the same awful performance they had against Italy.

England clearly haven't learned from the Ireland game a couple of years ago. This feels like that game all over again.

To think, before the championship, Wales were in poor form losing 7 on the trot.

Hopefully we'll stop having to hear Farrell refered to as "Ice man" all the time, he's always getting in a strop when things don't go his way.

Perhaps I should be disappointed as an Englander, but it was brilliant to watch such a great game from Wales - a deserved win in the game, and for the tournament - scintillating stuff from them.

Mike Brown looks a lot better at full back than the wing, Ashton needs to be rested, Croft needs more than 6 games after breaking his neck before getting a start, we should pick a fly half who can run a bit as well as kick and who isn't the son of a coach, more dynamic centres rather than the 2 big men for big games, put Wood back on the flank and get an 8 who's played there before - then we might have a chance.

Same here. A joy to watch. Should keep KM happy with those tries too - they were quality. England a bit poor really.

Agree with the comment about Farrell. I don't like the guy.

Farrell is a dirty player as well. He goes in late a lot.

    Enjoy being busy Madder Max!!

I though Farrell looked good, just the players outside him offered nothing

As brilliant as it was unexpected a couple of months ago (when's the last time the champions lost to the wooden spoon?). Experience won out there, England organised in defence but naive going forward. The scoreline was a little harsh, but we put away just about every chance we were given.

And once again, the Millennium proves itself the best stadium in the land: "Big up to Plaid Cymru, and the Welsh Assembly. Big up to Millennium: we don’t need no Wembley" :)

Well, gutted to lose like that but if rather get beaten by that kind of rugby than watch the boot of Farrell put 30 points on the board for a win. Don't think I could stomach the clamour for him to get the lions role.

    It did! :o)

Good match to watch. Shame about the scrums continually breaking down, and I felt the ref was a little over-fussy at times which kept threatening to lower the entertainment, but it was a great game.

High-energy, risk taking and exactly how I like my Rugby. Well, except with England winning usually. But I can't complain - good game to watch, and Wales thoroughly deserved it. Halfpenny was immense. Farrell was terrible. Absolutely terrible.

Absolutely furious with that performance. If I had to plead mitigating circumstances it would be the reffing of the scrum which was totally one -sided and gave wales the platform with which to attack England but they absolutely battered us in the second half.

He was a bit prissy at scrum time but you need to expect those sorts of things going away from home and play around them, be squeaky clean.

Big test for Lancaster's coaching ability now, in how he can lift the squad and wether he can make those tough calls on who should be dropped.

The only man who needs to be dropped is Ashton. He's had his fucking chips. The front row will recover. The team is still very young.

Dan Cole had a shocker in the scrum - couldn't bind for shit and Wales capitalised on it. Even without Cole's performance you could see Wales were just too strong.

Easily our best performance since the World Cup - every single player gave everything, left nothing in the tank. Absolutely fantastic!.

Lions selection will be very interesting now - based on this tournament there should be only a few Irish, couple of Scottish, a dozen English and majority Welsh.

"The worst part is, I'll have to have the break-up sex with myself!"

Ashton showed the measure of himself with the way he left Saints for Sarries. Farrell needs dropping, he doesn't have the right temperament for big games yet, too arrogant and one dimensional. Players like Burns and Ford should be bled into the squad, see if they can get the back line firing. There's too much of a Saracens shape to the team, it's not nice to watch in the premiership and its no better in test rugby. Brown is a great fullback but why we need 2 fullbacks on at the same time is beyond me. It's not like we're short of deadly finishers in this country but were relying on one guy who's a mess and another who's played his whole career at 15. There wasn't even a replacement wing, even a utility back, on the bench.

I've just got back to the digs from the stadium and seriously I've never experianced a game like that, Wales were so dominant from the firsts minute until the last. England just look second best in every department, but I think a lot of it has to do with lack of experiance as a group.

The one player who England really need to drop is Dan Cole, he was shocking today and you could see Wales were targeting him.

    Cardiff is bouncing!

Is it true that there are 290 odd caps on the English side and close to 700 for the Welsh? That's a wealth of experience they have over England if true.
