Cracking game this. Should get a few more sin binned, seems to be a good tactic for us.

Cannot stand time wasting - hope Ireland score a Try, and England are left without all the time that they've bled away to reply. It would serve them right.

I know Ireland are the absolute masters at cynically bleeding the clock away, but there's no need to stoop to that level on England's part.

Is there any team in the world that doesn't run the clock given the chance?

Good and deserved win for England, only team that threatened a try. England only unbeaten team left.

Yeah I know, I just prefer to watch them playing I suppose. Didn't mean to sound quite so grumpy, We won!

I'd like the ref's to be a bit more on top of this sort of thing too but at least it's fair either way. You've got the prior 70 minutes not to go a score down and not give away possession.

Great game. Really enjoyed it. Sorry chaps - I didn't leave the room, hence no tries. :(

Tournament is definitely wide open now. After Ireland destroyed us last week, i was fully expecting them to put a few points on England, but they managed to hold them off.

Was chuffed with the win over France - not sure how we managed to go from God-awful to rock solid in the space of a week, but i was very impressed. We stopped France in their tracks every time they tried to get forward and we sustained good possession and territory for the full 80.

Lovely bit of magic from Biggar and North for the try too - actually looking foward to the Italy game now!

Also, this is the best high five in the history of the world :

Aside from the Scots emphatic win, definitely a weekend for the rugby purist. I certainly didn't think Wales would be the only team to score a try. Chuffed with the win in Paris though, Ryan Jones was immense. Still not many people nailing themselves on for Lions shirts yet I feel.

Very true - as it stands, the only guaranteed Lions are Halfpenny, Farrell, O'Driscoll, Best and Richie Gray.

I'd tend to agree, although Hogg may just be edging over Halfpenny atm - considering Farrell will likely have duties with the boot. I still think Jones will be nailed on tighthead, despite him struggling with the (frankly appalling) pitch on Saturday. I really cannot understand the love for Dan Cole, I've seen him 4-5 times this season and he seems to slip his bind, put his hand on the floor and generally crumble under pressure and yet he seems to get the decisions. Still a way to go.

Oh Hogg will go, absolutely. Hogg and Kearney will go as the "natural" full-backs while Halfpenny will go as a utility back, wouldnt be surprised if he gets the shirt though.

To be honest, a lot can change between now and June in terms of form and injuries, but i'd like to see Gatland take a good mix of exciting young players (North, Farrell, Gray, Hogg, etc) and old pro's (O'Driscoll, Phillips, Jones, Jenkins, etc).

If O'Driscoll goes I hope he lasts longer than in the NZ tour... :(

O'Driscoll has to go IMO - a lot of people thought he was past it before the Wales game, then he tore us apart almost single-handed.

If he can stay fit (and its a big if) between now and June he should be the first guy on the plane IMO.

    Agreed.

If even if doesn't make it to the 23 for any of the Test matches, his ability to inspire and lead are invaluable. Right now though, he is probably favourite for the 13 shirt.

I'm flying out to Brisbane myself on Jun 19th before skipping over to Melbourne and Sydney for the respective tests. Literally cannot wait.

Italy without Parisse should make Wales strong favourites to win this afternoon.

I have a feeling France will win tonight.

This match may have no tries as that is some really shitty weather.

At least there is no Andrew Cotter on commentary.

That was the first try I've seen since the opening weekend. Jinx broken.

I'm feeling a bit sorry for Italy. They've played very well considering the conditions (heavy rain and no Parisse) but have very little to show for it.

Wales are annoying me at the moment. Their game plan appears to be: 1st half - do the very bare minimum. 2nd half - suddenly wake up and play pretty well! Why not play like that for the full 80 minutes?

Anybody know the name of that bit of 'glam rock cheese' they were playing over the 'Le Crunch' piece?

Quite enjoyed the Wales - Italy match in the end, was nice to see Wales string together some cohesive play, although Italy let them in the door a bit with handling errors they couldn't control, but also the weird deep-passing game that didn't really work out, and should maybe have seen them penalised for crossing on one or two more occasions... maybe!

Also amazed myself by not minding Jonathan Davies' first half commentary!

Looking forward to England - France because the French having nothing to lose should provide at least the potential for them to give England a big bloody nose, although the oddly mature play of the young Englanders is going to take some beating. Tasty proposition, though.

Is it me, or does Farrell look like he's got a touch of a limp?

France deserve to to be leading. Just hoping England can stay close in this half.
