    So it all starts today.

    Really worried how we(Wales) are going to fair, 7 loses on the bounce plus injuries and new caps doesn't fill me with confidence for the championship.

    Attack is actually pretty decent, it's the defence that is appalling. Also, Ireland are really slowing things down, have been all game, fair enough I say but the amount of "professional" play is a bit irritating as a Welshman :-)

    Quite a difference between how difficult the Welsh tries were in comparison to the Irish ones.

    Game over now I reckon, the lack of points since the sin bin is pretty poor, although it may well make a difference towards the end.

    Since the first minute we've been poor, Ireland completely dominant other than 5-10 mins after the break.

    Ireland look like a bloody good side this year.

    Yeah, I spoke too soon there! Decent 2nd half performance but left ourselves far too much to do after an abject 1st half showing.

    That second half gives me hope. It took so much effort in defence from Ireland. They were very good at that too, so fair play to the Irish, probably deserved it in the end. I do wish Wales didn't always do everything the hard way and if there is a defence in the world that doesn't know that we're going to pass it as wide as possible to open up space I'd be surprised. I'm only complaining of just how predictable it is, need to mix it up a bit now and again!
