my ps3 is connected to a netgear 3g modem, which in turn has a huawei 3g dongle plugged into it.

i've kept the ps3 running for 10 days downloading games over my tortoise-like internet connection, and often have extended play sessions, especially when my girlfriend is working night shift, and the router is on 24/7,so the ps3 can update while i sleep.

why then,do the dongles fail,as i would assume they're the least complex of the 3,and therefore have the least parts to fail?

My 3G dongle gets quite warm in use, so I make a point of taking it off and letting it cool down when I'm not using it. I'd guess that's why dongles fail quite often.

Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!
