    Not typically a Playstation player but I'm buzzing. Think it's just because after all the rumours about next gen we may actually be seeing something concrete.

    Plus the touchpad thing has me intrigued.

    In my defence I usually avoid these things like the plague (last ones I saw in full were Sony/EA/MS/Ubi at E3 about 3 years ago), but I couldn't help myself last night.

    The comments on.the main page regarding the ps4 not being able to run ps3 downloads is amusing. Gamers can be such idiots.

    Of course it would be good if it could but hardly a reason not to buy.

    I've got lots of dlc on my 360, if the next one won't run it then so what. I not being a 300 quid plus console to keep playing fez and limbo.

    You know, if they're so focused on this realtime streaming tech, all they really needed to do was enable a feature for you to buy PS3/4 games online and be able to stream them to anything, a PC, Mac, Android tablet, even a PS3, but just do so at an enforced lower quality, A) to (in theory) guarantee playability and B) make owning a PS4 still a desirable option, and they'd have broken some seriously new ground. Failing that, make Remote Play an option for any device. Buy a PS4, play the games on your PC or tablet or anything, not just the fricking Vita.

    I thought Remote Play was strictly PS3/4-to-Vita only, excluding dodgy barely-working hacks.

    Yeah, the phone app was passive only (IE, queue downloads, watch games being played, etc, but not actually play any games) from what I could tell.
