Arnie's sagging old chicken neck was becoming a problem even in Terminator 3 (Since when do the terminator's metal neck rods crease under skin folds?) 10yrs later, when at least 60% of his body weight is sagging skin, he's going to look bloody ridiculous trying to pull it off again.
The franchise just needs to be dropped, T1 and T2 won't be beaten, just give it up.
No way, he wasn't as large in T3 but still in good nick at 55!

Salvation was awesome! Didn't realise it was not liked to be honest

Salvation isn't even McGs best film, that's how bad it is.

Arnie has earnt the right to play the Terminator. He IS the Terminator, lets face it.

Why does it have to be someone young anyway. Fucking young people. Think they have dibs on everything. Meh!

/mutters something about in my day...

It's hard to keep to a shooting schedule when the lead needs naps after every scene.

I think The Rock would make a great Terminator.

The Resident Evil films. I'm one of the reasons they keep making them.

The rock or tom hardy. And terminator salvation is a shockingly bad film imho.

    @meme

Actually the Die Hard coming out this February looks pretty good from the trailers hopefully as good as the first two. I like the third but the fourth was a bit meh. Hopefully this is really really big budget and the baddie just as interesting.

I would like it to be more sexual. A reimagining of 1 and 2.

    Arnie is the terminator.
    Grace Jones is Sarah Connor.
Clive Owen is their offspring John. T. Connor.
Michael Biehn is The Peeping Tom.

I've heard that the Austrian Oak is a bit "rusty" in The Last Stand having not acted in lots of years.
Well the upside it - the Terminator does not need a lot of "acting" per-se... being wooden and cold is the point.

Actually the Die Hard coming out this February
It just so happens that the still in the trailer is the best bit - but yeah it does look pretty cool. Looking forward to it.

Good point. Robots do age exactly like humans do after all.

The problem with Salvation was that too much action took place in bright sunlight during the day, Give me darkness, search light etc. IMO

Theres no way he will be a terminator in this. Although, to be fair, he does now look like he is made out of rubber, so he could play one of the earlier models.

Dear all film / game companies,

Leave Terminator / Aliens / Predator alone.

    Stop pissing over great films.

    Thank you.

That's the worst film I have ever seen. Boreanarse is the best bit and he is fucking appalling.

It's weird how Expendables happened and went "LOOK, 80s ACTION FILMS WERE GREAT" and now in the space of a month we've got Schwartzenegger, Stallone and Bruce Willis action films coming out, and they look mostly shit, kind of negating the whole thing.
I think the main thing they are missing is 80's action films did not feature star turns from pensioners.

No more Lethal Weapons, I don't believe they can top the ending of the 4th film.

Not so sure about Arnie coming back in the Terminator films now. Look at him on this interview on the BBC.

makes me sad to see how old he is now. childhood hero.

cant see a way of getting him into terminator 5 without it feeling forced. in his book he stated made sure comedy was put into a lot of his films. done well when you have someone like cameron reigning it in. not so well when not checked aka terminator 3 elton john glasses.
