    I've heard that the Austrian Oak is a bit "rusty" in The Last Stand having not acted in lots of years. Hopefully be the time he gets around to doing this, he'll be back to his old self. Age my be a problem but then again The Terminator has never been quick off the mark.

    I'd rather they stay out of the future for the next one. Maybe Arnold can come back and save the Arnold from the original or something.

    They need to complete the loop by having them find the time machine after beating Skynet and send Kyle Reese back. Going back to the past would just make a ridiculously convoluted timeline even more convoluted.

    The only way I can see this working is if something goes wrong during the time travel and melts him slightly.

    Even at his standard he really is rusty, just watch the trailer for Last Stand. When he talks in the cafe, cringe.

    Back to Terminator. I hope he is playing an old guy which Skynet based the Model 101 on rather than stepping into Terminator boots again.

    Think it would be quite neat if he was captured by Skynet when he was young, used as a blueprint for the 101 model, escapes and fights for the resistance as he looks now.

    They could do what they did in T2 and 3 and just ignore the fact that he looks massively different in each. Wouldn't put it past them.

    Armie's acting ability has never mattered for Terminator. It is literally tailor made for him.

    Good script and this could be good. However it will be shit.

    Well the company that produced the last one went bust leading to a weird rights scramble and arnies most recent movie looks like being one of the biggest flops in history.

    So, yeah, I can see this happening fo sho.

    It's weird how Expendables happened and went "LOOK, 80s ACTION FILMS WERE GREAT" and now in the space of a month we've got Schwartzenegger, Stallone and Bruce Willis action films coming out, and they look mostly shit, kind of negating the whole thing.

    The Conan sequel I can kind of understand as there's material around King Conan that fits but Twins? That movie sucked balls the first time around.

    Terminator 5 is just going to be weird. Maybe they can make Christian Bale into a robot and have a scene where he just punches himself in the face before Arnold pulls his arms off and lets out that crazy Japanese commercial laugh.

    Arnie's sagging old chicken neck was becoming a problem even in Terminator 3 (Since when do the terminator's metal neck rods crease under skin folds?) 10yrs later, when at least 60% of his body weight is sagging skin, he's going to look bloody ridiculous trying to pull it off again.
    The franchise just needs to be dropped, T1 and T2 won't be beaten, just give it up.

    You laugh, but the original scripted ending for Terminator 4 was Connor dying and having his face transplanted onto Marcus. To be fair it's actually more plausible than the "spur of the moment heart transplant in a tent" ending we ended up with.

    Speaking of shitty sequels, has anyone seen the crow movie with him and the fat guy out of buffy? Its hilarious.

    If you asked me to list 100 actors I would pick to play the crow, edward furlong would not be one of them.
