Registered 10 years agoGoing to sit this one out and see what it's like a few months after the release, and all the predictable connection problems and bugs have settled.
Without wanting to rake up the conversation at the start of the thread, the constant online aspect of it is a turn-off for me, especially after being stung with it on the latest Settlers (which I only play single player). I'm tempted, as I love this series, but damn, developers are making it hard for me to love their games these days! -

I can see how you'd calculate wednesday given it's gestation period. Hopefully it won't stop you playing Sim City while you recouperate.This signature intentionally left blank.

Registered 5 years agoSo we've already got 15 people on "the list" which is only one short of the largest region. Hopefully it will either stay as it is or surge when it comes out so we can have two regions.
We should maybe get a general consensus of which of the regions we are going to take as the EG region. And then if we are really organised start planning who is going to take which plot.
We can also start thinking about who is going to set up the region, add the password etc, although I guess a lot of it will depend on who gets on first on the day, what the servers are like etc.XBox Live, Origin and Games for Windows Live Gamertag: teamHAM

Is it wrong that I would really enjoy messing around with accurate parking and bike lane options? In fact I think I would love a 'Sim Town', where you are even more limited in space, but have very detailed control over the layout and workings of your town. -
