I guess 0% taxes offsets the need for parks or anything else that's needed to make the sims happy.

yeah but no power, no water, no fire protection, no healthcare, no crime, no police, no traffic, no parks, no waste management, no jobs at all and you still get a population of 1.8 million.

Is this from some Sim city game?
    hotel

Just saw it on facebook with some outraged comments about people in India versus this.

I don't recall ever seeing that building it looks like to me a architects idea for a hotel he would give to local authority to get planning permission for.

    And so it begins...

Need an extra incentive to go green in SimCity? Maybe you need a little boost in the form of the new Nissan Leaf Charging Station that is available today. This free in-game item is the perfect way to kick start your desire to create a city that will make you (and your Sims) happy. In the case of your Sims, In the case of your Sims, the Charging Station provides happiness to the Sims that use it and a onetime wave of happiness to the nearby businesses. Need another bonus? It produces no sewage or garbage. Thatís right! Green indeed.

To redeem the Charging Station, just visit this Origin page (http://tinyurl.com/cculs88) and then restart your game in order for it to appear. You will need to use the same Origin ID that you use to play SimCity.

Its the little things that are breaking it.

Messages like "We need more parks" or complaints about sickness when there is a massive hospital in the city.

And this one... Where else do you think I want to put a street car stop?

    EG Isles 1 seems dead.

Anyone fancy starting another with a different great work as the target?

From my (albeit brief) experience with the game, the kindest thing they could do is take it out to the back yard and shoot it.

Just downloaded a large-ish update, but no mention anywhere of what it is or does.

I, like everyone else it seems, have taken a break from it until they bring out some fixes. I finally got overwhelmed by the tidal wave of bugs.

And no, the Nissan Leaf charging station dlc is not enough to bring me back.

Yeah, once I realised it wasn't an actual simulation game my interest waned dramatically.

Yeah sorry chaps me too. Though between me and the missus we got $50 worth of entertainment out of it, it really wasn't good enough to keep the interest for longer.

XCOM has since retaken its place although its buggy as hell its still compelling to play again and again.

    Aren't they cancelling Sims Social?

I wonder how much they'll charge for these buildings down the line.

Aye just heard Sim City Social is closing down June 14th. Maybe a ploy to get more people playing this.

Yeah I've not played it for weeks, which is very unusual for me. In the past a new civ or sim city game I would be helplessly addicted to by now (still play civ 5 quite often)

Or more like nobody was playing it any more and it wasn't profitable or a good use of resources any more.

I was just wondering why Sim City Social was included in the Crest promotion.

    Not sure anyone realized that...

@ronuds Unfortunate timing on their part really. The whole ad campaign was probably agreed a year or so ago when both games' future looked bright and rosy.

Just coincidental timing that SCS along with all other Playfish Sim games gets canned at the same time.

I tried looking for one of those specially-marked boxes of Crest yesterday, but there were none to be found. :(

    I need some TP anyway.
