I have it on PC, 100%ed it, and I'm still buying the PS3 version.

I paid peanuts for the pc version some time back yet never had the time or inclination to play it.
I no longer have a PC, but do have the free time now
So, I now have the PS3 version and am loving it. A quick read of a guide and the depth of this game is impressive.
Echoes of Super Metroid and some quest game I played on the BBC Micro, there's all sorts in here.
The soundtrack is fantastic, the beat of the pickaxe hammering out Motorik sub rhythms gets me in the zone.
Any PS3 users want to hook up?
Could a mod change the category to General Gaming please, for the console release?

So I downloaded this again today to a new 360 I'm going to use until new console happens, played it for some time, then came back to it tonight. It downloaded a title update and now it is stuck in demo mode, even though I own it and am signed into Live.

sounds like a licence transfer issue to me...
Not to me it doesn't, it sounds like a patch fucking my shit up issue. Games should work when you are signed in to LIVE, which is what happens with every other game I have.
Has anyone else with this game got a patch today? I'm not sure it is a new patch or if it never downloaded the old one when I played it earlier today.
found their forum, other 360 players having exact same problem with new patch.

So did the 1.2 update come out? Bit late at night for me to check.

I noticed it's getting a physical release on 360 is it worth picking up.

Yes. I think it's most suited to Vita though. You can download the trial to 360 but it's one of those games that are hard to get a handle on and grasp the genius of very quickly.
If they managed to make a 3D version of this as fully featured, it would do serious damage to Minecraft I think. Terraria's downside is I don't consider it fun to build in, but the interlocking systems of progression through loot and equipment leave Minecraft for dead, and it is a great multiplayer game.
The patch killed my previous save (only a few days old), but I started again. Even the small world is huge. Can't believe I didn't pick this up all those years ago, good fun.
The game needs a bug fix badly. You'll pretty certainly want to start a new game after it is patched, worlds are pretty broken at the moment. Still a lot of fun but I'm going to wait and restart after hitting a wall.
This is quite an addictive game, just got though my first meteorite fall and goblin invasion. Trying to get to the bottom of the map, but keep getting knocked into the lava by enemies. Might need to wait for some fire resistant stuff before trying that again.
Obsidian potion. I think you need to get to hell to make it though, pretty sure it has fireflower in it.
I recommend anyone wait until the upcoming bug fix to get too attached to a new world though, the worlds are bit generating properly and you'll have to start a new one to get all the stuff, and you want all the stuff.
You don't need to get to hell to make obsidian potions or even better an obsidian skull. just redirect some underground lakes to lava pools when the water touches the lava it creates obsidian. You can redirect lakes in a way to mine a substantial amount of obsidian.
The patch finally released. Started everything from scratch again.
