... and it is fucking HARD. Forgotten what instadeath *really* feels like. Also, seems a decade of joypads has made my joystick-skills so very, very weak.|

Playing Moonstone on Amiga again...
Lop their fucking heads off.
/makes blood squirting noises
I had a boxed copy of this once upon a time, but a dodgy friend of a friend stole it when my friend brought him round to my house once.
I was sad
That's the Baloks of the Northern Wastelands, silly. I suspect you have to do that upward stabbing-thing against the swamp monsters, but the 3/10ths of a second I'm granted to pull it off hasn't been quite enough. Yet.

I think this was the first game I played again when WinUAE came out. Either that or Wings.
Oh man I loved Wings. There's nothing which has replicated that feeling since.
Of gunning down tiny running japanese blokes?
That's Wings Of Fury.
Wings is the World War I game where you get to gun down tiny German blokes.
I'm so going to play Wings after tea.

It's also very tiny. I remembered it being so much bigger when I was a young un.
Anyone remember a Cinemaware game called "King Of Chicago"? I was well impressed by it back in the day...

I remember if you walked diagonally towards the monster, and do the 4 o o'clock attack, you can keep evading their pounce that drags you under.
Fucking great game
Moonstone, SWoS, Walker, Supercars 2, Wings and Knights of the Sky are the games that make me very, very happy and sad because I suck at them.
And "They Came From The Desert" as well of course.

I remember it being really hard, but I wasn't sure if that was just cause I was a dumb teenager at the time.
Did you ever managed to finish It Came From The Desert? I remember it being stupidly hard.
Defender of the Crown ofc.
Robin Hood and Rome 92AD need some love as well.
Edit:: Remember watching a let's play on It Came from the Desert last summer just to figure out how to complete it.

I remember ordering the expansion pack Antheads: It Came from the Desert II out the back of a magazine and there being a fucking disk missing.
