I have the original. Are the levels the same as before?
I think the levels are the same, yeah.
Picked up Surge to thank Futurlab for everything they give us, it's a good game.
I couldnt get into it, although it wasnt helped by having Sine Mora downloaded at the same time and that is brilliant.
Probably will give it another shot when im sick of getting blown to pieces in that.
It's a lot easier than Sine Mora. But I've reached zones 40+ and I'm now having to go back to earlier ones to gain more XP to progress.
I think I prefer it to sine mora..it's not as flash or pretty but I was hooked all weekend and those last few levels were crazy..
Sine Mora was too hard for me. I probably still got the £8 I paid from it but I only made it to the level with the garbage disposal, needing all my slow time to get through that then getting destroyed in the next section. Sine Mora is like an old skool shooter brought up to modern standards whereas this is full of new ideas.
Has anyone else picked up Surge yet? It's actually tempting to push for high scores in, I love the touch of showing you the next score above yours on the leaderboard at the start of the game (Although dynamic would be even better so you could see people's scores you were overtaking during the game.)
Yea the garbage bit is tricky, if u stay in the centre of the debris and follow it through the chute you should be ok..
I'm also stuck on that section. Think once I get past that I'll be ok for awhile.
Heh, I made it to there without losing a credit and then lost them all bar one immediately before I worked out you had to give it the full millennium falcon.
I've made it through the chute but couldn't get through the following section.

Started this a few days ago - totally brilliant!! Only about half way though, and the difficulty is starting to ramp up, but loving the game. There's actually some reasonable variety in the levels, although it does get a bit much at time with so many different buttons to press!
I'm really far into it and finding I have to go more back to earlier levels to get the required xp to unlock the later ones. Superb game.
Up to lvl 30 now - quite impressed how the addition of a small new feature can change the game from a straight shooter/rescue game into a more complex puzzler.
I've decided to plough though to the end (or when I need more XP to unlock further levels), rather than trying to get all Gold medals as I go along...
Got to lvl 50 this morning \o/
Love this game, although for the first time I'm really struggling to get through the level within the time limit.
Anyone managed it, along with rescuing all of the survivors?
Great game and I'd love a sequel.
I don't have the patience of dexterity to 'Perfect' all of the levels, but I rescued all of the survivors, so that'll do for me
A solid 9/10

Finished it a couple of days ago. it really is that rare breed of game that start good and just keeps on getting better and better with each level. I thoroughly enjoyed it and agree with the 9/10.
And it was free through Plus. Insane.
Brilliant music track for Velocity 2X
I want it now!
