OK, so I'm clearing out all of my old mags and want them to have a good home and they're free to anyone who wants them (as long as they pay for postage... unless you're in Bristol in which case I can drop them off by car). The mags that I'm giving away are:

    Arcade:
    Issue 1 - December '98 CLAIMED
    Issue 11 - October '99 CLAIMED

    Computer and Video Games:
    Issue 176 - July '96 CLAIMED
    Issue 193 - December '97 CLAIMED
    Issue 200 - July '98 CLAIMED

Games Master issue 72 - September '98 CLAIMED

Official Playstation Magazine issue 67 - January 2001 CLAIMED

Play issue 68 (can't find the date on it) CLAIMED

Total 64 issue 9 (can't find date on it)

Official Nintendo Magazine/ 'Nintendo Magazine System':
    Issue 46 July'96 CLAIMED
    Issue 49 - October '96 CLAIMED
    Issue 50 - November '96
    Issue 51 December '96
    Issue 52 - January '97
    Issue 53 - February '97
    Issue 54 - March '97
    Issue 58 - July '97
    Issue 59 - August '97
    Issue 61 - October '97
    Issue 67 - April '98
    Issue 68 - May '98

The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time guide created by the 'N64 Magazine' people (not a guide that came with the mag; it was sold on its own for 3.50 and came with a big poster back in the day)- it's 100 pages long full of pseudo-3D maps for every area, all the secrets, sub-quests and items, glitches, tricks, the history of the game and an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto and other shiz. CLAIMED

As for the ones that I'm selling, there's:

-Issue 1 of N64 Pro with the video tape that came with it, excellent condition.

-I'm looking to get rid of my collection of 'N64 Magazine' as one job lot - I have every single issue ever made, with all of the Double Game Guides, companion booklets and the video tape that came with the first issue. Over half of them are absolutely mint, whilst the rest show a few slight signs of use but all of them are in very good condition regardless except for 2 issues which have a little damage to the front cover.

Just throw me an offer if you're interested.

Really? I'm having loads of fun looking over my Perfect Dark guide made by N64 Magazine and I love reading all about the little glitches and tricks. I thought I'd unlocked everything (including beating 'War' on Perfect Agent - boy was that a tough one), but I discovered that if I play co-op main game missions with a person or a sim, I can unlock other sims so thanks to the guide I kmow that there's more to do before it's fully 100%-ed.

Any idea on postage prices? (in UK), also if i'm paying postage might as well get a couple more...the oldest CVG and Ninty mag? :)

    Guessing Paypal is fine?

Take as many as you want, I just want to get rid of them but want them to have a good home. I'd rather a bank transfer as Paypal takes a chunk of the cash and I have to wait for it to go to my account as I have no money at the moment, even for postage. :(

I'll PM you my bank details if that's OK?

I wouldn't mind the Arcade mags if you can find out postage etc. I don't mind 2nd class post if it makes things cheaper/easier

OK danathjo, those 3 mags and a jiffy bag come to 850g which the robbing bastards at Royal Mail will charge 3.50 for 2nd class delivery.

wildcatforever, both Arcade mags and a jiffy come to a shocking 1050g (Lots of pages though - 180 compared to the 100-odd in the other mags), which is over the weight of what you can send in 2nd class post so it's 1st class only for which they will charge an even more shocking 5.60, BUT... if I send them as 2 seperate items, they qualify as within the 2nd class weight bracket and come to 1.90 x 2 = 3.80.

EDIT: got some maths wrong, should all be right now.

Can you guys let me know when you've made the payments and message me your addresses?

If the postage prices have put you off, can you say so in the thread so that others can order the mags you were after if they're no longer wanted?

Hi, wow, hope you're still doing this, if so I'd be more than happy to take that Official Playstation one, the Play one and both of the remaining CVG ones.

If that's OK just let me know the postage costs and we'll do the rest by PM :)

@danathjo I'm quite surprised to be honest, I would have said they were in average condition - its only the N64 Magazines that I kept in superb condition. BTW, check inside the Zelda mag - I'm doubtful but I *think* there may be an A1 poster designed by Will Overton from N64 Magazine.

I'm glad they found a new home. :) Let me know if you want any of the other free ones, as otherwise I'll be forced tp drop them off at a doctor's surgery or something.

@Psiloc You're welcome to them, I just don't want them to go to waste! The 4 mags that you asked for come to 1362g so I'll get to Royal Mail to find the cheapest postage option for you and message you with the postage price. :)

EDIT: I can send them as 2 'large letters' 2nd class and they'll work out at 1.90 each which comes to 3.80. I've found one large enough padded envelope but I may ask if you can pay for one if I can't find another - that said, they can go in a non-padded envelop which should only cost about 20p, if you don't mind! Although I will rummage around and see if I can find any more that are large enough for the mags.

I'm not sure about parting with the N64 issue 1 alone as I would ideally like to get rid of the whole lot in 1 go unless someone asked for a significant portion of the mags but I'll think on it. I have no idea how much I would charge for issue 1, but it's highly-sought after so it would probably be rather expensive! I'll do some research on it.

@SG That's fine about the N64 one then, (looking back I misread your post) so keep it for your job lot. Without issue 1 I imagine its value would collapse so I'm not gonna twist your arm.

It would be a shame to wreck them in the post at this stage so I reckon the second padded envelope is for the best. Let me know your final price and the payment details then and I'll get the money sent over.

    Nice one!

@SG Ooh, don't know how but I missed the Games Master one. If no one else wants it (feel like I've already had my fair share) please add that to your price. A rough figure is fine by the way I don't mind paying over a bit if it saves you a trip to the post office.

EDIT: Actually I've got my eye on the next oldest official N64 one too... up to you mate whatever's easiest.

No problem, Games Master is yours. Due to lack of interest in this thread I'm thinking of putting the remaining ones (after I've packaged yours up) on Freecycle so if you want the whole lot, go for it. Which oldest official N64 one do you mean? Issue 49/Oct '96?

I'll weigh the mags that you asked for and get back to you.

OK, they come to 1914g which is 5.30 with Royal Mail parcels or if you want them first class, it comes to 8:30. You won't need to worry about getting a padded envelope, for that amount of mags I think that I can find a box for them.

If the extra mags are sent as another 2nd class parcel, that's 3 x 1.90 which is 5.70 so no savings for splitting them up, so Parcels or 1st Class it is!

@Psiloc Posted today. The guy at the Post Office was like, "That's 8.30" without even asking about parcels and so I said that I wanted to send it as a parcel - considering how fat a wadge the mags are and he seemed surprised that anyone would send it as a parcel, when it's 3 less! Anyway, it's 2-5 days so it'll be with you by Monday earliest, Thursday latest. :)

Someone else please take some mags or I'll have to ditch them at the doctor's surgery or something but I'd much rather that they went to someone who appreciated them! List is updated as to what's available.
