    So who is/isn't using a screen protector, what's the verdict on the one you have?

    So far I'm not, I usually find they dim the screen and lessen the response of the touch screens. Had a Hori one on the 3DS but took it off in the end, there are a couple of small scratches on the 3DS screen that you can see if you try hard enough when switched off but as soon as it's switched on you can't see them anymore.

    Not sure what to do re gamepad.

    If you're managing to scratch a screen that's protected by a clamshell design then maybe you should get one.

    The real question is: Does this really need a whole thread? it barely justifies a single post...

    A lame attempt at a shit joke in a pointless thread.

    Unless you have fingertips like the pointy end of a nail, I don't see how it should be a problem.

    Does the touchpad thingy have like a pouch or sleeve to store it in when you're not using it? In my mind, that's probably when the screen is at its most vulnerable, unless you put it well & truly out of harm's way.

    No, it feels much better without it and I don't run the risk of going flaccid while trying to put it on.

    Now I've made the obvious shit joke the thread can be locked.

    I do, but I tell you it's not easy finding them in the XXXL size.

    Full of Christmas cheer round here. Sense of humour failure or what re title.

    @Mr-Brett, you do realise you have to open the clam shell to use the 3DS (joke, rhetorical)! I didn't think it would be such a big deal to find out what screen protectors people use and recommend.

    @Fantomex, pointless, really, pot kettle.

    Granted I should have known what to expect, jeez ...

    Less humour and more low quality pun that wasn't worth the effort. You'll have to raise the bar a bit I'm afraid.

    Yes, thank you for the secret santa gift (your old colon snake), it made things so much easier in the long run.
