A 30 minute film based on in the storms where i live. its pretty spectacular. Basically a day in the life of a village as it prepares and goes through rough conditions. Looking at cyclical processes, and themes of nature bigger than us etc. Inspired by Le Quattro Volte. Hopefully. So sort of going through ideas at the moment etc. I been thinking quite a bit about it, but its getting equipment and trying it out. Even if it doesn't work its something to work on
What sort of film project are you interested in doing?

Start with a black screen. Shen have growing letters that say "STORM IS COMING" (getting all the Game of Throne fans on board).
Then do the inception Foghorn and show a bunch of "midst of the storm" footage".

Treat my partner better, I love her to bits but I could do better by her as I'm a bit of a moody cunt.
Be a better family member and friend. Just generally be a little more sociable and give a shit about others.--------------------------------------------------------------------

Registered 6 years agoGet fit, fo sho. The running I started last year fizzled out after a few months due to weather (lack of commitment during adverse conditions) etc, but there is one of those no frill gyms near me that a couple of my chums go to and it is only £20 per month. Has all the running, cycling, rowing machines etc plus weight machines and and they have just installed a new body resistance training room or something.Treat my partner better, I love her to bits but I could do better by her as I'm a bit of a moody cunt.
Ditto to that for me, and be more lenient with my daughter too. Shout less and try to be more understanding. I know I am opening the floodgates for abuse here but she is just about to turn twelve and has started secondary school so is going through that point in life that can only be described like this...Whassamattayou, whyoulookasosad, itsanicaplace, itsanotsobad, heyshaddupayourface.

Registered 4 years agoAnyway, resolutions...
Be even more slavishly devoted to cutting out microwaveable/oven ready meals like store-bought pizza.
More actively support indie retailers instead of using giants like amazon is convenient go-to sites.
Try to be a bit less marmite as a forumite and work on my character flaws to make them less abrasive to others on here (this is an EG specific one, don't get this level of... interestingly expressed feedback... on any other forum I frequent). I will take any chance I can to increase my fitting-in skills though and not be an oddball though, so this is as much an olive branch to you lot as it is a resolution.
Take the plunge and and devote more time towards achieving something I have always wanted to do - finish writing a book instead of endlessly tinkering with the world building, actually put my love of designing shit for the sake of it into practice as opposed to happily residing in the theoretical, etc.
Do more to be self-sufficient/ambitious on the income and escape slave-to-the-wage for good, or at least make more meaningful progress in that area.
And crucially: Try to overcome my propensity to buy new games because they're new and actually do more to get into the habit of completing one game before moving on to another.
