    Mine:
    - quit smoking (at least at work)
    - lose weight
    - get back into BF3
    - play at least some of the games bought in the Steam sales

That said, new year resolutions never work.

    None for me really.

Hopefully buy a house by early next year, but thats not really within my control, we have made an offer and pray it goes through!

i do want to be more healthy in january just to lose a couple of pounds, but not really a new years resolution as i usually am healthy in january anyway, so its nothing out of my ordinary.

I think the trick is to not have too many (2 or 3 max), and not be too vague in your goals, e.g instead of "losing weight", the goal could be "drop 2 stone".

We could do an EG calendar together! Profits go to English schools in America.

I'd buy that for a dollar.

Was there a thread like this last year? Might be interesting to dig it up & see how successful we were.

    2013:
Come up with a cunning plan to avoid ever working in an office again.
Visit friends and family more, locally and further afield.
Do one DIY task every weekend.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

I actually worry about how thin i would have to be to get a six pack.

    i reckon i'd have to lose about 10kg, and i weigh 80kg at 5'8".

i'd look skinny. dont want to look skinny.

Get a new bike and cycle more.
Get stuck into a photography/film project
See friends more, local and further afield.
    ---------

And a more ambitious sort of sort out my fucking miserable excuse of an existence.
Either do a masters degree, travelling, buy/build/starting thinking about making a small space thingy majig, or consider buying my own house and quit my fucking job and get a better one.

    1. Put on 3 stone.
    2. Start up smoking and drinking.
    3. Dabble in the occult.

I weigh 68kg at 5'10 and you can't make it out...however when I drop to 66kg sometimes you can see the vague outlines of a 4 pack. 66kg is a little too skinny though.

    Come and get it cumslingers!

"dabble" in the occult suggests a lack of commitment. Why not aim high? Embrace the occult.

Going to get fit. Signed up for Edinburgh half marathon so that should be enough motivation:)

Spend less time gaming, more time training myself on certain work techy stuff to hopefully work as a contractor and double my wage as a result.

Move country. Where to is the question though.

Get less annoyed about work stuff, just not worth it.

Improve career prospects in some way
    Get married
Play guitar more/get back into open mic

The world is going mad. Me? I'm doing fine.
