Will Smith lost it a while ago and it looks like he's breeding another unbearable ego.

I thought he turned down Django because of its vulgarity?

I heard it was the not being the star reason. I don't see it actually being vulgarity unless that covers excessive use of the N word.

@glaeken - a quick google tells me that you are correct.

You'd think with that much money these ak-tor wankers would finally decide to do something for the sake of the art.

Pimping his son is really cringing.

    Will, your not fooling anyone.
Your kids are talentless annoying little twats. Everyone knows that they are only getting these parts because of you.
Stop trying to convince us that your bratty spoiled little spawn have talent. They don't. They are average at best.

I mean, that Jayden kid really annoys me with his stupid "look at me raising my eyebrows" expression he always seems to have plastered on his face.
He is only getting parts in these films because daddy is abusing his power and opening doors for him. Anyone who thinks otherwise is naive.

I like Will Smith. He has been in some brilliant movies but this obsession with pushing his talentless kids in our faces is really starting to grate now.

Jayden's actually a pretty good MC. Probably better than his dad ever was.

The problem with that is only the realest survive, so he would be reduced to doing novelty girlfriend rap.

There are rumours flying around that Men in Black 4 is in production, but Will Smith will not be returning for the Independence Day sequels. If he does MIB4 and not ID4 2 and 3, I will punch a panda. O if not a panda, something equally as endangered.

Will Smith wasn't why ID4 was good, so I don't think I'd care if he were in a sequel.

Without him there's no MiB, though. Not that MiB is any good.

    *THWACK* "Welcome to Earth"

    He was comic relief!

How do they justify a sequel anyway - the same aliens return and we beat them again?

"Oh no, you did not shoot that green shit at me!"

The REST of them come back, clearly. It's hardly the most tenuous example of an excuse for a sequel.

True. It would just be kinda silly if they had some ultimate weakness that we expose time and time again.

Maybe they should have the aliens win in 2 and then in 3 we discover their second ultimate weakness. It's more believable that they have 2 ultimate weaknesses rather than 3.

Actually, we already exposed 2 ultimate weaknesses: their rudimentary communications and that crystal penis that comes from the parent ships. Beating them a second time should be a breeze.

We should hope that when the time comes the aliens who attack us are as dumb.

Only problem is now is that getting modern day Apple stuff to work with anything that isn't other Apple stuff is nigh on impossible, even for Jeff Goldblum.

A Mars Attacks! sequel would be more welcome.

To be fair, at least it was pretty funny that on their promo tour they brought along Jazzy Jeff and Carlton.

Brought along Jazzy Jeff? He's been non-stop DJing on the mean streets of Bournemouth since I started uni 10 years ago.

I like Will Smith but think his son comes off as a bit of a C-word. I got that vibe on the Graham Norton show.

The kid's grown up with Will and Jayden Smith as parents. There's no way he could turn out to be likeable.

Not that Will and Jayden aren't likeable, but this kid has to have a massive superiority complex.

I thought it was already confirmed he wouldn't be back for the Independence Day sequels.
