    I love ME3 and didn't care about the ending.

    I kinda enjoyed Dark Souls but got bored of it pretty quickly.

    XBLA is primarily tarted up flash games.

    PSN is primarily drawn out, one dimensional art house projects.

    GTA:SA was the peak of open-world gaming, by far.

    Oblivion is so much better than Skyrim that it's embarrassing. Skyrim is actually a pretty bad game.

    Demons/Darks Souls, Super Meat Boy, Hotline Miami and all the recent "super-hard" games are just not fun at all to the point of being unplayable.

    Indie gaming contains just as many utter stinkers as mainstream published stuff, it just gets a pass for some bizarre reason. Maybe it's the cheaper price-tag of mist indie stuff or condescending "well done, you done made a game and it works and everything" factor.

    Yearly update stuff like FIFA and COD and whatnot are in fact pretty decent and people who complain about their annual release should just fucking ignore them and get on with their lives.

    Storylines in 99.9% of games are on par with storylines in porn. Barely.

    Bioware are a terrible dev who make shitty genre mash-up games with dull good/evil conversation trees and basic purity-score tat to pretend that they are creating a deep interactive world when all that happens is that people either say you are a bad man or a good man. Emergent gameplay ahoy-hoy!

    For all the complaining people did that there was "nothing worth owning" on the Wii, it probably had the same amount of games as the PS3/360 (and all decent consoles of their generations) that were truly worthy of having money spent on them, that is to say, not a whole lot really.

    Half Life 2 was bollox, got to the Antlions and gave up. What it did give me though is Steam.

    Bioshock was a load of cack, and who the fuck said it was the sequel to System Shock 2 ??

    Trust me - unlike yourself (you do love an argument after all) - I don't think anything said on this forum nowadays really evokes much if any emotion in me. The odd heat of the moment football post maybe, but that's because of the emotion invested in it at the time.

    edit; and I'm going to disagree with your point there, I like a lot of people on the internet use smilies and stuff to dictate the tone of a post. That's what they are there for. Shame they have to be used at all, but that's the problem with conversing just with text.

    Gears of War series has awful combat and shooting. The blood splatters are shit too. Shoot and watch the syrup from the chest high walls over and over. AI doesn't exist unless the enemy survives long enough to walk in a straight line, these being the heavies who can soak up your spray. The truly insulting story and characters on top. I still feel disgusted that I played this.

    Spelunky's not very good. Dishonored would be crap even if it had more than one 'grab from behind' animation. XCOM has about as much tactical depth as tiddliwinks...!
