Yeah, Majora is only on the Zelda collector's edition thingy on the GC, but that version suffered from crashing and sound issues. The Wii VC version would be the best to play at the moment.

Although a 3DS remake is inevitable - NoA even hinted at it in a tweet recently, which was then deleted.

Which is why it's an unpopular opinion.
darkmorgado wrote: Majora's Mask is the best Zelda game full-stop. It gave Zelda great characters and a convincing illusion of actually making a difference to the world despite its fundamental linearity.
    My thoughts exactly.
Don't get me wrong, I too think Majora is better than Ocarina in many aspects. But Ocarina remains the definitive Zelda for me, plus it had better dungeons.

Mine was a MD house (and made more annoying by the fact I was asked which I thought was better as my Dad's christmas present one year, thus rendering me responsible for this sad fact). I always regretted that, I ended up with a severe case of envy-itis until I was finally old enough to be able to afford to buy my own SNES for retro majesty after last gen had already rolled around with PS2 and Dreamcast.

Rockstar are the most overrated developer of all time.

Don't inflict your bloated & flacid narratives, wonky control systems and endless busy work on me in the hope that you've created something that HBO might consider wiping their backside with.

Because you haven't, and they won't.

@MikeP I don't think they are as bad as the description, but the first sentence I'm finding it hard to disagree with. Certainly of the last fifteen years.

Blast Corps followed by Viva Pinata are the best games Rare have ever made.

I'll say that Bioware are a close running second. Their one saving grace for me was KOTOR. Loved that game to bits.

I don't particularly care for Dead Space. I tried to like it but really didn't see what the fuss was about.

Same applies to Far Cry and Far Cry 2. I've really tried liking them but they just bored me.

Tenchu Z is a great game.

    Driving the Mako was fun.

Halo isn't that great. It's alright. I own a few of them but it's not as great a series as some make it out to be.

The last good single player COD was COD2. Multiplayer was COD4.

The original Shadownrun wasn't actually that good. Neither was Syndicate.

Metal Gear Solid 2 was the best one of them all.

Super Mario World was a bit boring after a while. Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island was a terrible game.

    The best Burnout was Revenge.

And @darkmorgado - Blast Corps is indeed one of the best they've made. It deserves a XBLA re-release.

If you can read this, you don't need glasses.

LittleBig Planet is an excellent platform game and an average level editor.

@convercide I thought burnout revenge was a big step backwards. The traffic hitting mechanic ruined the challenge of the game.

I tend to think the exact opposite of that, a great editor (if a bit intimidating to newcomers) hamstrung by annoying avatar movement flaws - Floaty jump being the oft-cited one.

I also find oddball nerd creations more interesting than actual levels too, like that working calculator one.

I struggle trying to decide whether Revenge or Takedown is my personal favourite. In terms of track design I prefer Revenge, but then Takedown's Crash-time mode was practically an entire game in itself ripe for bragging rights against friends.

@darkmorgado for me burnout 2 is incredible. 3 is excellent. Revenge is an okay sequel to 3, though I thought the tracks were good too.

@graysonavich I used to spend hours with my housemates trying to beat our times and scores on BO2. I think the crash log is based on that, so much fun to be had.

@darkmorgado a fun game but it wasn't what a new burnout game should have been.

Yup! Roadpod & I spent many an hour on local mooltiplayer. Pro tip: if you had an modded Xbox and played it at 50hz it made drifting 100x easier!

Oh here is one: KOTOR was tedious - punctuated with dire Bioware dialogue (especially with NPCs and something still present in stuff like Dragon Age), poorly constructed morality system which led to a dire main character, detached frustrating combat and pretty much only had the Star Wars licence as its main saving grace via the grand get out clause of "has lightsabers".

I hated it. I really did. And I know everyone loves it.

Bioware is the most overrated developer there is.

Dragon Age was a massive case of the Emperor's new clothes, Mass Effect wasn't that good and KoToR was a chore. If it wasn't for the admittedly well realised settings, no one would pay any attention.

Your not the only one. It was absolutely souless and had a pointless open world.

Only good thing it did was run at 60fps and had fantastic graphics. The PS3 port was also a miracle as it was one of the first 3rd party games that didn't run like shit other than that Paradise was a turd.
