    Does anyone disagree with that?

Never had a problem with the 1st xbox controller. I can only only assume those that do have pixie hands or something.

    (see also: DC controller)

Wiimote could be the crappiest official but there have been so many awful third party controllers in the last few generations that it can't take the overall crown of crumminess.

I loved the duke. It was reassuringly massive.

I don't even have particularly big hands.

As was the whole console. It was indestructible. I soldered on a modchip and I slipped, and the soldering iron slid across half the circuit board, burning it. Thought "well that's fucked then" but I turned it on and....it booted up as normal. Also heard stories of people dropping them, they still worked. Consoles these days you just look at them wrong and they break.

Hated it. Too big for smaller hands, buttons too close together for sausage fingers on larger hands. And the d-pad was awful. No such problems with the DC pad, which was actually one of my favorites.

Didn't really care for the Wiimote, but it was trying something completely different from other controllers. So I don't really compare them that much.

Here's one that might be unpopular:

I quite enjoy Mario Party games

I also enjoy Mario Party. I don't enjoy enslaving children, as they're no good for heavy lifting.

Size of the original Xbox controller was a bit on the big side for me, but that wasn't the issue. Weirdly shaped and weirdly angled buttons was the issue. I frequently lose my bearings and didn't know what button I was pressing, sometimes ending up on the black and white buttons which I'm guessing everyone has forgotten about they were so shit.

Animal Crossing was the original Farmville, and should be shunned as such.

    Now THAT should be unpopular.

I think I did that on the first page.

I actually preferred the original Xbox controller to the S. I was initially worried about the 360 controllers similarities to the S but found it to be almost perfect.

I didn't like the Dreamcast one much though, or the Gamecube. And come to think of it the PS2 one was awful. So controller wise that generation the Xbox came first and second for me.

Despite looking the same the DS3 controller for the PS3 is a huge improvement but still miles behind the 360s.

I have mixed opinions on the Wiimote. I like the hand waving but hate the positioning and tiny size of the + and - buttons.

Most people had their hands wrecked by the PS2... which is why those things are perfectly comfortable to them now. :D

I find it really difficult to use a PS3 controller, which is really surprising after spending so many years on the PS1 and PS2.

After being an Xboxer for a long time I pick up a PS3 controller and just think how the fuck and anyone keep their thumbs in that position for an extended period of time without developing a claw.

Also..those fucking trigger/buttons monstrosities are absolute shit.
This. I had a ps2 from release til i bought my 360 and have the same, problem. I love the 360 comntroller but when i play things on my ps3 i find it clunky

Just be grateful Sony didn't go with the original prototype for the PS3 controller.

I'm perfectly comfortable with either controller. When people day they get cramps and stuff I always assume people holding them wrong.

Yeah, I don't get people who complain about ps3 controllers after enduring the ps2. They're the same.

It's L2 and R2. Changes the angle your fingers rest at if you rest them in the trigger position. I didn't mind, it felt okay to me, but I can see why people wouldn't like it.

The only game I've had trouble with regarding pads is Fifa as I find the PS3 triggers to be pretty ropey and they're an absolute must on Fifa so I plumped for the 360 version which has rather nice triggers.
