Vita is so good for the final 4 months of this year that I have totally forgiven the quiet times (quiet despite still having way more games to play than I possibly can play!)|
I might double dip on this when its on sale if there is a good amount of DLC.
santashi wrote:Ah, my mistake. I couldn't remember if you could get them in normal fights. Can you just head back to the location of each boss to fight them again? You don't need to start a new game I'm guessing?
Got any Caves of Evil tips? Which one did you manage no damage on?
@aros I have a feeling that the first cave of evil I got no damage on was the one where all the wildlife tries to kill you. You can of course redo the caves as much as you please.|
Yep, no need to start a new game to repeat boss fights - just teleport to the nearest shrine and go to them as normal. If you are looking for a no damage boss fight then I think it was the huge samurai I got it on.
Don't forget that you are invincible while you are using the skills, so whetstones are you friends.
It turns out that you can pretty much cheat if you finish the most evil cave of evil before going for those but it's more satisfying having done them first.

|Is the most evil Cave of Evil the level 92 one? I came across that the other day but didn't try it.|
My Limited Edition from play-asia has finally arrived! \o/|
I ordered it when it was on sale cheap(er), but it's taken a few weeks for me to get it. Probably got stuck in customs, but it managed to get through without any extra charges.
I'm even more pleased now I've had a go. My god, the colours, so many colours. The music is glorious too.|
I've only done the first couple of bosses so far. I'm a little confused by the Forge screen, but I managed to make something. Am I supposed to make every blade available?
@chub Some come from bosses and the rest you forge. You'll be able to weild more as your stats improve but as long as you have the requisite souls/foody points and the sword family tree linking down to it is done, then you can forge at any time, whether you can use it or not.|
Great game! The colours and music really are lovely.

|The colours are amazing - I love that every screen has every colour of the rainbow!|
|So, this is out now. I'm sorely tempted, even though it's not my type of game...|
|I'm glad this is out - hoepefully lots of people buy it as it's great.|
Any news of the dlc for Europe? Read something about new characters and storylines?|
I'm resisting the urge to buy this now because it doesn't seem to offer too much different from the Wii version. Granted, it's a bargain-tastic price!
|No news of the DLC anywhere!|

|Is this as good as dragon's crown?|
Does this still feature the Wii's control method of pushing up on the stick/d-pad to jump?|
There was so much to love about it, but I found it unplayable because of those controls, button to jump is just hardwired to my brain after 20 years of platforming!
|X to jump.|
|Right, Vita purchase in the morning it is...|
Fuzzy, you couldn't change that on the Wii?|
Although obviously a platform type of game should absolutely be a button to jump, I'd probably get used to the Muramasa Wii controls very quickly, as that is essentially fighting game controls.
Gambit1977 wrote:You rate dragons crown? I'm disappointed with it. There's no tactics to the combat at all, I was hoping for a bit of depth. All the depth is in the equipment purchasing etc, but when you get down to the gameplay its sorely lacking
|It's as good as Dragon's Crown and very good value for money - I haven't done either alternate ending with over 25 hours on the clock|
|Six endings in total. You don't need to redo the game for them, though, luckily!|

Hi the ps store price for this makes it very attractive but does this include the 4 extra character dlc already released or is that part of the upcoming dlc they have already announced ? The links I have found so far mention the 4 player character dlc but they are from September 2012 so thought they must be included in this version already because it's so long ago, any help would be great thanks as not sure about shelling out money for this if they are going to release all the dlc and the vanilla game in the future as part of a bundle.|

The Ghost Who Walks
|As far as I'm aware there is no physical release for this - so if you want the EU version that's the only way to get it anyway.|
Are the four character DLC's even available in the US or are they just Japan?|
They haven't been advertised as part of a title update on my US version.

|I have a question for those who have played the DLC for this. I bought the US version ages ago but have not bothered with the DLC due to the Vita's awkwardness with multiple PSN accounts. Now that I have the Euro game on PSPLUS I have rethought about the DLC. I know the saves aren't cross compatible between the regions, but is there any advantage to attaching the DLC to a save with a complete game as opposed to an "unplayed one" that would make it better off aiming for the US DLC?|
