2D side scrolling brawler looking mighty tasty. Can just imagine it looking gorgeous on the Vita's creen.

I'll be glad if this actually arrives on these shores. I never played the Wii version and regret it - a lot.

Beautiful game, probably one of my favourites on the Wii. It will leap off the OLED. As it has already been translated, I can't see there being too much of a delay for a release in the West.

I do hope that it does get localised since the new content is DLC and I prefer to stick with one region.

Aksys handling localisation duties in the US

No news for Europe yet but at least the chances of an EU release have improved slightly.

Gives hope, anyway, although there are a bunch of Aksys releases that I wish had made it here! Who localised the Wii version in the EU?

And thanks for the heads up! Now we need Xseed's batch of announcements. ;)

@santashi Rising Star Games - recently, they responded "Sorry" when asked but that was before this announcement. If RSG wants to pick this up again, I'll be happy to buy it :)

Ahh, they have a semi-exchange deal going on with Aksys already, don't they? That might be a good sign... :) I'd buy it a second time, too, especially with a specific jump button. I dislike up for jump so I'm pretty relieved that they've done away with that.

Hopefully an EU release will be announced soon, I'd rather wait a little while than pay extra to import.

USgamer are EGs Vita hating sister. Even IGN were really positive about the game. The Wii game was known as great but noone played it so complaining about a port with unchanged gameplay is ridiculous in this case.

Finished the game on Wii and loved it. Currently waiting for amazon.com to ship my copy to the UK and can't bloody wait!

Seems a little harsh. For me, the graphics and especially the music did a lot to take me through, and it has the advantage of actually controlling properly. Which reminds me, I do still need to finish it.

I doubt one will come :( If we're lucky it might get a digital only release.

Sony should just pick this and Dragon's Crown up and distribute in Europe.

Maybe they are waiting until people have both the games from importing then will announce they're coming to EU making all of us suckers buy two copies (as we would obviously want the DLC if available!)

I don't want to set up a US account/get another memory card in order to play the new scenarios, though. I've got enough to be getting on with that I can wait and see if anything happens. :)

Since the filesize is under 500MB I'd be perfectly happy with a digital release here. :p

The US thing seems too much hassle even with multiple memory cards already. When they release a new model with 256gb or whatever storage built in I will likely switch my current Vita to US.

I was annoyed enough at the situation that I just decided to buy it on import (VG+ were bundling a mini-soundtrack while stocks last).

Whoever was going to localize it has waited far too long to announce it.

    Fair enough. :)

I'd at least like to know if the DLC is worth it.

DHL delivered this morning. Played about an hour of it and it looks stunning with responsive controls. Came with a pretty pointless 5 track audio cd, soundtrack is very very good though. Really happy with this. Perfect fit for the Vita

Awesome Jelly. Thanks for the post.

Murbs, how long do VG deliveries normally take to come? Can we expect the game early next week do you reckon?

The graphics in this are absolutely STUNNING - from the few hours I've played I've spent about half the time stopping to spend time looking at the art. Totally animated, amazingly drawn and more colourful than a Nintendo game!

The art really is absolutely amazing - by far the best graphics on Vita (even beating Rayman Origins!)

The combat is fun and seems quite deep with a wide variety of moves, which are also differentiated by which sword you are using with them having different fighting styles.

Definitely recommended - the game play is fun, it seems like quite a long game. I wouldn't import if you don't take pleasure from 2D art in games but if you do it's like an interactive painting (There's screens that contain every colour you can think of without looking out of place!) with fun gameplay to boot.

There seems to be lots of little touches that bring it to life, like the bridge in the background of a city scape showing shillouettes walking back and forth, despite you only being able to see the bridge for a fraction of a second if you're running straight through.

It's a game to take your time with to notice all the little touches.

Haven't been up to speed on this one but is it any different from the Wii version?

You no longer have jump bound to "up" (in fact, the controls are very customisable) and there is new DLC in the future at some point, though there's been nothing mentioned for a whole, even in Japan. That's about it, I think. The game itself is the same, I believe.
