    Was never a big Neo Geo fan but it looks great, if Nintendo or Sega made something similar I'd bite.

    I'd get one if I knew how much they'd charge for extra game cards. It does look well designed and manufactured, and the inclusion of a classic arcade stick is great.

    Have you seen the one with the walnut case and stick? It's an original Neo Geo (well, consolised MVS version) but recased in walnut. I can't tell you how beautifully that would match all my furniture and speakers. If only I had more money than sense..

    Obviously people are aware this is just a handheld? The big console thing is just a snazzy docking station.

    Did anyone actually buy one of these? Wasn't aware it'd officially been released in the UK, though I might impulse buy one for under a tonne, kind of on the basis my most used portable actually on go in the past was the GB Micro...but £175?!!!! Christ.

    This article on Engadget reminded me of its existence.

    Yeah, I got one.

    I'm in the process of hacking roms into it because the existing built in games are, for the most part, a load of aged shit. Is it worth the money? Nope. Is the hardware any good? Not really, no but I'm happy it has a USB joystick at least. The docking station is a bit daft and all in all it's an awful lot of plastic and not a lot of substance.

    TBH, I hope they do cease production so I can sell it for a truckload of cash in a few years.
