    Just curious since we are neighbours what Irish/English relations are like these days.
    Im Irish myself and just wondering what the thoughts are regarding Ireland

    Ireland were a little foolhardy to join the EU. No doubt Scotland will make the same mistake if they choose to leave the UK.

    Just that our history of fucking over you guys, cromwell etc has carried over. Just my experience of one guy who went to university over here had a chip on his shoulder. But I think the scots and the welsh also harbour similar chips.

    I'd have no problem with an Irish prime minister. My grandfather was Irish.
