    I do. I remember it well. Top down, weaving around traffic through city streets.

    I totally called it.

    if for any reason I was unable to complete the project I would refund you all in full.
    Bit of a risky promise. He must be pretty confident of completing the project but still, he could end up thousands in debt.

    @PearOfAnguish

    I hope not. I would say there is a market for retro books and I guess its how and where you advertise it.

    Yeah, there is a market (Retro Gamer is still going isn't it?) and the book looks interesting, but promising to refund all pledges if the project fails is dangerous.

    After this project gets done, next on the list is a kick start to bring Gamesmaster back on CH4 and dragging Dominik Diamond back from Canada to host :p

    Kickstarter rules say you have to anyway but he can just do a half arsed job if he needs to at the end.

    Kickstarter rules say nothing of the sort. If you don't make your target, sure, the money just doesn't get taken out of your account in the first place, but once the project is funded, Kickstarter officially wash their hands of it.

    Cubby didn't know how to turn off sigs!

    I remember me and my mate laughing whenever we played Match Day, as the players just materialised out of the grass.

    I have good and bad memories of Ocean. They became almost fully about shitty platform games for film licences didn't they?

    There were some good games in there along the way too, but the amount of shitty platformers was pretty large as far as I can recall.

    One licenced game I did buy was the roland rat game for 99p from a bargain bin . I did quite enjoy it though. /o\

    Yeah, Rat fans....:-P

    @Vortex808

    They did make some dodgy one's but I'd guess they sold well due that it was a licence of some sort but the likes of Robocop and Chase HQ to name a few were good games. The first thing that always got you with Ocean games was there box art, always eye catching. Abit like U.S. Gold games.

    Ocean! Brilliant, so many classic games. I'll be donating a wadge to this next week when I get some cash for definite. I really want this book. Hopefully it'll get funded.

    Up to 72% with 14 days to go - final stretch.

    Meeting Martin Galway in December (he is flying over from Texas) to talk to him about some of the classic tunes he created for Ocean and Imagine.

    Which one is your favourite? Parallax for me :)
