    Still nothing. Chased it up this morning, 'it's with the network team' meaning 'nothing's been done about it yet'. The number I've called is 'just a contact centre' meaning 'we don't have the power to do anything to help you'.

    I shall be forced to have to wait some more. Check back in with me in a week :-(

    And your only crime was being eager to buy it! Arse. Hope you get a resolution sooner rather than later...

    I wrote up a review of the PC version if anyone's interested - I guess most of it applies to the Vita version too.

    Still waiting for the game I paid for over a week ago. I could understand it if it was a Zavvi order, but this is bloomin' digital!

    SCEE do seem to have a special knack for cocking up releases and then ignoring customers to really piss them off.

    Same with LBP, although I can't complain too much about that as they refunded me and I never got charged for the working version :-P

    Just had a call from Sony; apparently £7.99 has been refunded to my wallet so I can go and buy the game again.

    I bought this game for my PC a few weeks ago (it's now £2.71 on Steam for anyone interested?) but I still went and bought it for my PSV as well as it is a terrific game. The PSV version obviously doesn't come close to the visual fidelity of the PC version at 1920x1200 but it is still a stunningly impressive attempt. This, Jet Set Radio and the amazing Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed really make me feel much more positive about my PSV's future than I was a month ago. If only the memory cards were cheaper and available in larger sizes than 32 GB; it would be perfect.

    Xbox 360, PS3, PS Vita, Wii, PC (Intel Core i7-920 @ 3.8 GHz, 12 GB, 2 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 SLI, Windows 8 Pro), iPad 4

    If they just let you use standard SD (or even microSD) cards it'd be something. And if it had a standard USB connector. Bloody sony.

    Anyway, downloading this now as it happens to play on my holiday. It's going to be one of those stupidly hard games I'm too rubbish to get anywhere on, isn't it?

    I don't think so if the manual is anything to go by it would appear that the game becomes more difficult the better you play, if you start sucking it reduces the number of shots the enemy fires.

    I am fairly hopeless at shmups but this one is excellent and you get much better as you stick at it.

    The game rates you depending on how many enemies you kill, how many times you get hit and how many credits you use in each section. You do better it ups your level and things get harder, you do worse and the game gets easier. At least that's how I understood the text tutorial stuff in the menu.

    I'm really enjoying this at the moment, I'd forgotten how much fun side scrolling shooters are when they are done well.

    I second that, just completed the story. Really loved it, and very repayable.

    Yea I'm still playing this off and on, trying to get my score up a Lil. It's the bosses that take my multiplyers away :(

    Start of Chapter 2 - i have to shoot open a duct-like-thing, then fly into it....and i then get destroyed, but i'm not sure by what - any ideas?

    You're supposed to hang about in the garbage so they don't spot you. Someone's not been listening to the briefing ;-)

    Love how this plays with the 2.5D effect in the boss fights.

    I'm still bobbins at it, but getting gradually better. Think I'm reasonably close to the end now, got up to the converted observatory last night before my continues ran out.
