In a way this is partly because it came out before the PS3. It's always been my primary console. If the PS3 had come out before the 360 then I might well have just bought that and never bothered with the 360.XBL: rolemodel86 PSN: Syrette86

Only the other day, my friend paid £230 for a PS3 super slim 500GB, with 3x free AAA games + Spiderman film download, and £10 free store credit(he promptly swapped for £10 PSN voucher).
Assuming he's already used CEX for the games, his real cost is below £150. But if you actually put the console at SRP £150, the sales would be much greater. So PS3 is retaining its value and sales in consumer's eyes without racing to the bottom on price. PS2 sold most of its sales below SRP of £130. So by that estimation alone, Sony will sell 140million PS3s at the very least, before sales rates drop to end-of-generation-levels. -

If Japan ever come around to the idea of a western console things could be interesting.
Also it'll be interesting to see wot the WIIu does, as its nearly upon us and im not so sure people now what the hell it is. -

So why should the Xbox died after 2010? In past two years I have enjoyed several excellent exclusives , seen the best visuals in new games and played the best versions of the majority of multiplatform games. Xbox live as a service continues to expand, I could go on for ages.
You are doctor fraud though. -
It still has exclusives and they have recently changed the dashboard to re focus on gaming after a poor last version.
So 2012 is still as good as 2010. Infact it is even better, this generation has never had many exclusives between ps3 and 360.
95% are multiple platforms and for one reason or another 360 often gets the best version.
No matter which console you have it has been an excellent generation, both are outstanding machines. I personally just prefer Xbox live to psn, I prefer the controller and I prefer the limited exclusives

Wii u got an excellent chance of bombing, if it was not Nintendo it would be almost a cert.
Mostly terrible launch game list with a console that is no better than 6/7 year old machines at over 100 quid more. Ouch. No wonder several execs of them game companies have voiced concerns. -
