    Genuine question: is it possible to mute other players on Xbox Live? I always mute other players online because 99% of the time their only verbal contributions involve general discussions with their mate/s about the day's events. I find it really distracting.

    Worst online argument I've ever heard was on Op Flash when an American joined our team to skew the numbers to 5vs3, instead of 4vs4. A Scottish fella took exception to it. God, it was brutal. I actually felt sullied listening to it.

    Yessir. Go to the Voice settings of your profile. You can set it to "off" or "Friends only".

    Or you can mute anyone on an individual basis.
