    Its official.

First Fassbender gets Assassins Creed, then Aaron Paul gets Need for Speed......now this.

Is it me or has the casting for videogame movies taken a turn for the A list?

Hopefully no more of this type of casting :

What age will he be playing. I always thought Sam F was late 40's early 50's.

Tom Hardy is class though.Must have watched The Take 3 times at least.

Im assuming they'll do some sort of prequel-type-thingy where they do Sams early years (joining the CIA, getting recruited for Third Echelon, etc).

Actually wouldnt mind watching it if they do that TBH.

This is one of those things where a film character cliche becomes an interesting computer game character, and then they try and translate it back into a film character again.

Rarely works. And when I say rarely, I mean never.

Casting a good actor is encouraging I guess. Still though, same could have been said for Prince of Persia...
