The high production values of modern Western games

Got to thinking about some of my favourite games this gen, they being FIFA 13, Mass Effect's 1-3, Forza 4, Batman: Arkham 1 & 2 and GTA IV. All superbly realised and polished games, in terms of their physics, animations, art direction, storytelling, voice acting, gameplay variety and customization options.

Whether or not we are in a 'Golden Age' of gaming, what's clear to me is that the very best games these days are highly slick affairs indeed.

In all seriousness, i find telling blonde women apart difficult. They all look the same, or at least the good looking ones do. I'd be watching a film and the wife would say "Oh look it's her a gain, she was in that film we watched the other day" and I would not have a clue. Does this make me blondist?
