    That is ace, I'm just kicking myself as I bought MG on release and haven't played it yet. Must get cracking before 13 March.

    Well, I'm getting a Vita next month. Hell yeah. Already got the PS Plus stuff up to now, a few Cross buy titles and 10 PSone games.

    But there are no games on it... :confused:

    Plus is so awesome, I have no idea how Sony can make money from it.

    For people that have had Plus for a while and have the Vita games in their download list but no console, it must be very tempting to pick one up just to play effectively, free games.

    MGS HD - Cross Save title. Free on Vita in the hope that people buy the PS3 version to play on a bigger screen.

    Puddle - As above but without the Cross Save function :p

    As for the PS3 ones (Mass Effect 3, Dead or Alive 5, Joe Danger 2), ME3 is to get people to grab the first 2 games. Dead or Alive 5 for those err costumes (and to promote DoA5+ on Vita probably). Joe Danger 2 probably to tempt people to buy Joe Danger 1

    All the above is speculation. SCEE might just have a bigger budget :p

    I think at this point they're desperately trying to up their install base and tie people into their ecosystem for the next gen. I'm not complaining though, I'm in.

    Edit: Also, at a certain point, it might make more sense to focus on selling DLC than the main game itself - ME3 for example may be at that point.

    my only complain: the ps+ offers for vita are too good. i think i bought almost all of them already.

    but it's okay, i like to have some games on my memory card, so i won't have to switch the game card - i'm that lazy

    I'd just talked myself out of selling MGS, now I'm reconsidering all over again!

    A virtual backlog takes up less space than a physical one ;)

    Perfect. Hoping to Platinum MGS2 soon so would be able to sell the Vita cart and download it ready for MGS3.

    Not really, if I want something badly enough, I will pick it up, play it and sell it on. If it is something older like MGS, I will just wait as I knowing it will be on Plus soon enough, or in a sale cheap enough not to worry about losing out too much.

    I have had a couple of games that I own come up, have just sold the physical release and not thought too much about it.

    If you don't have a Vita, you would have so much stuff to be getting on with you wouldn't need to buy anything other than a large memory card for months.

    Just got Plus a month or so back.

    I had 4 games on disc that Sony were giving away free:

    Bioshock 2, Vanquish, Uncharted: GA and (LBP2)

    Traded 3 of them and Far Cry 3 for Halo 4. The subscription nearly paid for itself immediately.

    Currently have Lumines and LBP2 in my to trade pile. Going to try and get another set of 3 or 4 together and swap them for Ni No Kuni next.

    The Vita version of Snake Eater is pretty impressive. (So much better than the, frankly unplayable, 3DS version).

    I got the metal gear HD collection for the ps3 round Xmas and recently been playing snake eater. My i love my metal gear games. Not been on my vita much recently as I've been playing the above on my ps3 and just got metal gear rising today.

    That's a mint game as well :)

    One major issue with Vita MGS Collection is that it does not include the PSP games!

    You could just buy them. Only Peace Walker is worth buying though. The other ones have terrible controls.

    Currently have the 4gig card at present, prices for 8gb high street cards seem to be about 27 Quid, this the going rate? I've got a few quid on my GAME card and would look to buy the 1 yr plus sub and card from them.

    @papalazarou I think they were a couple of quid less in Tesco last time I went in there (£25 ish), but I suppose it depends how much credit you have at Game which works out cheaper for you.
