    I'll give it P_W

    The ones for jews:

I am the Lord your God. I bought you. I own you.
    You won't worship other Gods.
    You won't worship statues
You won't do anything on the Sabbath

    The ones for everyone:

    No killing
    No stealing
No coveting of your neighbour's ass (but what an ass!)
    Honouring of your parents
    No adultery (booo!)
    No false witness

LB, you really are a massive geek.

False idols. Moses comes down and tells people this and the very first thing they do is make a golden calf and kneel before it and he's all like 'Guys, I just told you, literally just now, what did I say? Stop fucking about with the statue and get to god bothering' and he goes all gangster and starts breaking fools.

The Jewish God is unknown but most importantly unknowable. He's supposed everything we cannot imagine.

It's why the very inner sanctum of the Jewish temple in Jerusalem, the Holy of Holies, the place that even the top chap in the Priesthood was only allowed in once a year and even them it was kind of apologetically, like 'sorry to bother you God, my bad', was ... empty.

Sounds suspiciously like that other guy.

A strange game. The only winning move is not to play.

Any depictions of God are inaccurate because they fall within the realm of our understanding. The whole point of him in the first place is that he's shorthand for 'the things we don't understand'. The problem now is that our scientific understanding of the universe have provided a solution where he's surplus to requirements, if you like there isn't anything we cannot comprehend any more.

More importantly, CHRIST I sound like a wanker.

We can all agree on the white beard, though, right?

Interestingly the muslims, and the more extreme Protestants back in the religious upheavals (and some of them even nowadays) still follow the thing about graven images. A lot of religious art got destroyed in the Reformation times.

The true name of God in the Jewish religion is apparently forgotten since the only place they were allowed to say it was in the Temple, and they haven't had a Temple in millennia.

Here's a quiz question - why was Ludwig von Reuter important to people who wanted to build radiation-proof rooms for sensitive testing?

This is a tough one. Was going to say The Untouchables, but I think he sports a 'tache in that.

    Edit: to LB.

Did he invent the first radiation-proof room for sensitive testing?

@President_Weasel Is this something to do with communication ? A method of transmitting the results out of the room without using radiation?

Piece of paper slipped under the door, that kind of thing?

He's not a Nazi. He's the chap who scuttled all the ships at Scapa Flow.

Correct. Which made them an excellent source of steel that hadn't been contaminated by atmospheric radiation during the bessemer or similar process when people needed to make low-radiation casings for sensitive instruments, or radiation free rooms to try to find out how much the bikini atoll tests had irradiated the locals.

Leo's Bro gets to ask a question.

    God I'm a genius.

Where are the following futuristic craft designs from:

    Eagle
    Star Fury
    T-16
    Spinner

Bonus question - when the Bismarck sank the Hood, what ship did she radio home thinking she had sunk?
